I think the Black Spindle is more valuable in the King's Fall Raid than the Touch of Malice
The reason most people use the ToM is cuz of infinite ammo, and they work around it's health loss using blessing of light. how about this? Black Spindle with Weapons of Light. And if you keep landing crits, whitenail stays active. golgoroth has a huge crit. box already. warpriest and sisters too should be easy to hit. so why take ToM over BS? Overall, Black Spindle does more damage right? The only negative is that u will run out of ammo. but now come on, what are synths for? EDIT: I'm sorry for claiming oryx has a crit box. All of what I wrote is related to all the raid completions that I have seen. I haven't privately tested anything.

Oryx has literally no crit spot, and the daughters crit spot moves around too much to hit consistently, ToM however does good dps without having to hit a crit spot, 1kys is much better for those two fights than spindle as well.

I will never, EVER!! Use spindle on the sisters. Those adds make you flinch so much, good luck landing those crits.

I've never used black spindle in the raid. I always use touch of malice for sisters and oryx. Personal preference is all it is.

I don't even use the malice for the oryx part of the raid anymore. Sleeper simulant all the way. This thing OHK's everything. Including the Knights. It's great for staggering oryx too. I use my hung jury for the adds, 1kstare for the shade. I'm not a big fan of the malice but the sleeper works out better imo

First half of the raid black spindle, second half ToM. I hope there aren't people out there that don't know this.

8 AntwortenA couple months back there was a forum post that tested the damage on war priest for black spindle vs ToM vs sleeper. In his posted results ToM blew the other two away and even sleeper produced better results than spindle which came in last place.

The sisters move their head around to much to get full ammos worth of spindle without missing a couple of times and well for oyrx..... But for both You don't have to worry about dying as the invulnerability

The only fight I would say that spindle is the absolute best at is golgoroth. For warpriest it's a toss up between spindle and simulant. At daughters, use ToM. For oryx it depends on your position.

I agree. I don't even use ToM anymore. I use the spindle at oryx too. To hammer down the ogres. A couple people in our group use the Sleeper. I think 1 uses the ToM anymore.

5 AntwortenTouch of Malice is the better of the two for Sisters and Oryx because the aura around your team keeps you from being damaged by it and you never run out of ammo. Black Spindle is great against Warpriest and Golgoroth, only downside is the 3 bullets that are fired before having to reload.
