I'm glad they are trying to move pvp towards primary weapon gun play. Good move Bungie
Edit:
A lot of mixed feeling about it so far. We shall see.
Edit 2:
This is only happening in 3v3 modes people. Also, damn this post blew up

Love it. I will finally get to fire my primary.

4 AntwortenLol just start with invective wait for your ammo then when you die switch weapons back to your sniper/shotty with your god dang last word or mida
-
Yup. Why this wasn't a thing a long time ago I have no idea.
-
3 AntwortenPrepare yourself for a shit ton of people using thorn.
And I'm proud being 1 of them
-
1 AntwortenIt only took 2 years
-
2 AntwortenInvective :)
-
2 AntwortenBut seriously who is enjoying the pvp with so much lag around. Lately there up to four red bar guys in the other team and two on my team. Yeah thats not fun at all.
-
10 AntwortenJust another reason for people to start using Invective
-
8 AntwortenToo bad they forgot to get rid of heavy ammo in 3v3. I think people have been talking about that just as much (if not more) than special. I guess we'll have to deal with the unlimited quillms terminus ammo some basterds get.

9 AntwortenBearbeitet von AndreasM37: 2/5/2016 1:25:17 PMWell, as an almost pure shotgun user in PvP it might not come as a surprise that this update is not appreciated by myself. Like Einstein said, all depends on the point of view you have. I simply don´t like to use the primary weapon in PvP as not in line with my preferred way of playing this type of game. So I guess I´ll play the control which is not impacted apparently, and force myself through a match of the others games on the days they spit out LM`s. Not keen on waiting 2 minutes in any game until shotgun ammo is available, which in worst case scenario will be picked up by another guy as everybody is jumping on it. Yeah - similar to heavy we possibly will soon see players waiting around special ammo spawn points, to hit players in the back who want to pickup such ammo - annoying. If that´s the big idea about it then helmets down & start to pray. Besides this, what´s the big deal if a sniper gets a lucky shot in the first minute of the game? I don´t care if one should hit me, which I personally never detected as an issue so far anyway. Sorry Bungie, limits the fun and the band width of Crucible games for me. But just my point of view, surely I understand that others might not be that pissed off. Edit: Why not also starting the game without giving any primary ammo to the players? Then we´ll have 2 minutes pure hand-to-hand combat, and in the patch afterwards we´ll eliminate that as well and have coffee and cake and sing songs together. Sorry but just a bit frustrated as you might have guessed.

2 AntwortenLet invective charge up its ammo, switch to sniper when dead, win. I'm sorry
-
I like the idea https://youtu.be/GvdzI_Qwe7k
-
What's they change
-
1 AntwortenI can't wait for everyone to eventually start off with no ammo for everything.
-
I'm fine with the changes to Special Ammo, but I think this necessitates a change to inventory capacity depending on weapon archetype. For example, a high-impact Sniper has a lot more killing power than a low-impact Sniper, thus the high-impact one should receive and be able to hold less ammo than the low-impact one - fair, no? Same thing for Shotguns, not too sure on Fusion Rifles as there really aren't enough examples for comparison right now. Really, I'd just like there to be a reason for players to use weapons that aren't 1000-Yard Stare or Conspiracy Theory-D.

Invective, uni remote, myself etc etc, people will find a way to use special
-
It's the nerf we need, not the one we deserve
-
4 AntwortenIt won't for people who use shotguns they'll just start using invective. Meaning shotguns move back to being the overused and weapon to be bitched about. The new update literally solved nothing
-
I'm glad to see this. It'll hopefully change up how matches go especially in trials. I rarely play trials unless my friend begs me to, just because I was annoyed by the snipers. I personally don't care for sniping. I prefer straight forward CQC. And I look at this as destinys PVP switching more towards Halo. In Halo you have to find and grab the power weapons. Now in destiny it's you'll have your preferred power weapon and just need ammo.
-
I never have a problem with special ammo, and am tired of all the complaining about Snipers and Shotguns. If your good with one, then use it. The problem I see with this is, it's going to bring out a lot of Invectives and Ice Breakers. Thanks for nerfing our choices now.

MIDA=3-4 shots 1000k= 1-2 shots Hm, which one would be better to have at the beginning of a match?
-
2 AntwortenUniversal remote just became my primary.
-
Only difference is you'll get MIDA'd instead of 1KY'd in Trials. Good is still good.
-
Doesn't solve it people will just use invective then change to a sniper during round loading screens this fixes nothing
-
Ice Ice Baby!!! Call for Y2 version!

Right be used instead of camping a lane now people camp a special crate.
