Finally Rank 25 Dead Orbit
Got my exotic class item last night! Been here a long time, just took me a while bc before TTK I would always forget to equip the cloak to get rep so I never really leveled it. I'm curious as to how rare/exclusive it really is, though.
Is this something a lot of people have (exotic faction class items) or is it a small minority or players?

I have dead orbit bond and new monarchy bond for my warlock, dead orbit mark for titan, and FWC cloak for the hunter. Close to having new monarchy items for titan and hunter.

Congrats to you my friend. I've had my NM exotic Cloak for a while now too. A little heads up in case you didn't know, you have to still have the DO alliance in order to keep the cloak equipped.

1 more strike and I'll have the FWC exotic bond for my warlock. Got my dead orbit bond at 316

I think they're all very nice EXCEPT that once I reach that rank I'll probably never use the class item. (by that rank, I'm pretty sure you'll have all that fraction shaders and ships.) I went with dual rep gain class items instead. Double the package drop... Now if these exotic class item unlock earlier, which it should, and help people rank up faster to get that certain fraction item(shader or ship mainly) it would be another whole story.

Bearbeitet von Shag6: 2/5/2016 2:57:39 AMThe problem with these class items is that, A) They are exotics, which require more effort and materials to level up, and B) They can only be equipped if you've pledged allegiance to its respective faction. I'm sure many have at least one. Every year one player should. You don't see people using them because of the reasons stated above, and obviously people may not agree with their aesthetics.

I have all 3 factions on my warlock, just finished dead orbit on my hunter and am level 16 NM currently. My titan has a long way to go on every faction.
