I played 5+ games last night in control.. Half the other team was red bar and one guy was shooting Atheons epilogue and it didn't even sound full auto.. Sounded like he was shooting it like a pulse rifle.. Which means there was serious lag. The only fun game type now is trials. But the matchmaking is at its absolute worst right now. I stopped playing after 5 games last night. This is coming from a top1% player with 60K kills in crucible. I play pvp a lot and it's the most fun for me. But please.. Explain how I can go 30+ kills in IB to barely going positive in control? The struggle is real. Major changes need to be made to matchmaking. My advice would be pull the needle closer to connection based matching. Next, fix the mercy rule. We should know be playing a game when one team is up by 10K in control (15-5 K). Next, fix matching to where you're not randomly joining a 15-5 K game at all. That just makes me quit that match bc there's no point. Lastly, if a team of six is matching then it should be matched with at least a team of 4+ not 6 randoms. I know these changes can't be very hard to implement. If you and bungie want more players to play pvp and stay with the game, these changes must be placed. Cmon deej!
