So, here's the scenario : Bungie is recruiting content developers, and you end up being hired. What is the first thing you make? (Event/DLC)
Edit:Thanks for all the replies! I've seen some really awesome ideas, and some really nasty ones.. (I'm looking at you, Hive Porno.) Let's keep it up! Maybe Bungie will take notes!

With all the replies and to revive this post, I'd like to make my own addition. This will be a PvE event simply titled "The Hunt". In it, a Hunter stationed in the Ishtar Jungles (a new patrol section of Venus) has discovered a thriving population of Ahamkarra. The event will you take you through a series of missions where you chase after a particular Ahamkarra nicknamed Brood Mother because she is pregnant. The event will feature : -New Grimoire with detailed accounts of Ahamkarra and lore about Ahamkarra -New missions -A new patrol area on Venus -New bounties, hunting powerful Ahamkarra specimens through the Ishtar Jungles -New temporary Raid that will finish your encounter with Brood Mother -New enemy type, the Ahamkarra Here are some more details, especially about the Raid The raid will be the final encounter between the Guardians and Brood Mother. In the raid, the Ahamkarra have taken over a Vex fortress known as The Mountain. The Mountain is a semi-underground Vex structure that expands into underground tunnels and rivers. Guardians, through the story missions, will scope out the Mountain and discover how large the structure actually is. Guardians will also encounter both Vex and Ahamkarra. In the raid, it will begin with Guardians using a Vex attempt to retake the Mountain from the Ahamkarra as a distraction to enter through a back-door area located behind a large mounain. Once in, Guardians will fight off minor Vex resistance in a ever changing maze like area. The maze will change each week. After, Guardians will encounter a large Vex minotaur and defeat it by luring it back into the maze and use the maze's traps against it. Once its defeated it, Guardians regroup in the central area of the maze to a portal leading to a large cavern. In the cavern, Vex and Ahamkarra are battling. Guardians must fend off both through a series of waves with increasing difficulty. After, they must continue into tunnels and find their way to a Ahamkarra protecting fledgling Ahamkarra. Obviously battle, and continue on fighting Ahamkarra until they make it to the Oasis. The Oasis at the tip of the Mountain, which is literally the tip of the mountain the Mountain is built under. A large hole in the ceiling, and water pours in on one side with magma on the other forming an obsidian structure in the middle. On it resides the Brood Mother. Now, Guardians must fight the Brood Mother in a turn-based fight. First, Guardians attack her stomach area. After a certain amount of damage, perhaps 1/5, Ahamkarra resistance increases and Guardians must fend off many attackers. This cycle continues until the Brood Mother flies away through the hole and awaits the Guardians at the top. Guardians venture to the top in a challenging parkour puzzle, and finally fight the Brood Mother while she flies around raining fire. Guardians will be rewarded with an amount of scales, and of course dragon/ahamkarra themed loot. What are Scales? Scales will be a currency that you can turn in to the Vanguard for raid-like gear. Loot: Loot will be themed like dragon. Imagine the Titan armor like a knight, with a feather on top of the helmet like a stereotypical knight. The armor will consist of chain-mail and scale plating. The Hunter armor will be made of Ahamkarra hide and scale. Few plates. The cloak will be green and be made of scales. The warlock will look similar, with Ahamkarra hide robes and some scales and few plates. The bond will be made of solid fire. Finally, the Raid exclusive exotic will be a Hand Cannon called "The Flame of the Hunt". It will have max impact, a 12 bullet ammo capacity. It will have Firefly and an interchangeable perk called "The Flame" and it's counterpart "The Hunt". The Flame will give max stability and reload each precision kill, and The Hunt will give enemies a red outline on your display until they are defeated or you are. Finally, the patrol will have an event called "The Hunt" too. In it, a Ahamkarra will be seen flying over the patrol. You must locate it, follow it, and in the end kill it. There will be raid-level patrol exclusive gear but not enough to make a set out of. Overall, the event will last a month or could be made into a DLC.

44 AntwortenBearbeitet von Auriventris: 2/7/2016 12:53:49 AMHard mode patrol: *Your flying into the vast wilderness of the cosmodrome* Cayde-6: "Severe storms have hit the cosmodrome, Watch yourself guardian. The elements can be as dangerous as the darkness" Ghost: "Whats a little rain going to do?" ------------ You spawn into the cosmodrome, the sun has set and the dark night fills the sky, Heavy rain pelts the ground as your armor trickles loudly, Your vision cut in half from the moisture clouding the world around you. The wind so strong you constantly stutter running through the falling elements, Lightning striking the rocket ships once used to evacuate this once precious landscape. Thunder so loud you can't hear the gunshots of fireteams and the darkness alike. Every squad of fallen has an ultra captain, Every hive an ultra knight or wizard. The enemy moving against each other for hours at a time, Wave after wave of deadly hellfire amongst the stormy weather. You find a patrol beacon and activate the signal, You're told to hunt down the ultra captain named 'Raxanok'. You follow a trail around the cosomodrone like a mission, Seeking dead bodies and clues to find the trail of this beast. At the end of your journey you find the monster where you woke up, Across the broken bridge of cars and over the small hill, You breach the base with a fireteam you just invited. The monster is slain and your reward awaits near his body. An exotic engram! You all leave the wilderness and visit the tower, Your decrypted engram offers an ancient weapon of immense power. The 'KL57-Siege' an exotic sniper rifle with explosive rounds and maximum impact (PvE only) Hard mode patrol features: -New time of day & weather -High level mobs -New location on each patrol map -Ultra Patrol missions that have a chance of offering an exotic engram which can decrypt into an exotic specifically found on that planets patrol. An actual patrol (with 40lvl 320 light mobs) with up to 24 people where you can get your freakin ass kicked with more and tougher aliens everywhere (like when "enemies kill the sh!t out of each other", "taken invasion" and "defend the warsat" (or whatever they're called) in the skywatch but all at the same time) and PvP enabled (you can bring a fireteam). Put some bosses in places with global 320 loot (everyone can see it) so you will fight for it with other fireteams. Doesn't make much too much sense but it'd be a cool end game imo and there'd be a reason for being 320.

My list of new content if I were hired: -Make Europa and Titan as explorable patrol areas, expanding more areas to explore of what we've lost to the darkness -Have a special strike within the Prison Of Elders location (where you fight 3 Strike Bosses at once; Fallen, Hive, & Cabal working together). Prison of Mutiny strike -Have 12 story missions based off of the coming of the Cabal Empire's Scout Fleet. The next 12-14 missions will feature the main forces of the Cabal, revealing the Cabal Emperor heading to Earth with far more larger fleet than the bases of Phobos -Add 2 to 4 more strikes: *For the Queen strike (fighting thru Cabal held territory on Mars with Uldrin Sov on the comms guiding you to his sister). *Echoes of the Taken (confirming the death of Oryx that was heading into Saturn's orbit, new Taken leadership and Hive commanders blocking your path) *Rise of the Ahamkara (Venus strike on Ahamkara's return) *Shock & Awe (Cabal high command sends in a strike force to the outer wall of the Last City, a Cabal Primus is spearheading this assault on the City & The Traveler) -Add newer exotics and newer gear & weapon types *SMG *Grenade Launcher *Aegis Shield (similar to VoG, and if you wanna live like Captain America) *New melee weapons (Darkblade's Axefor example) -Add/change all subclasses or add a 4th class Well this ain't content, more like an expansion. XD

8 AntwortenA hide and seek game. An employee or other designated person joins the game world at a set time once a month. They hide in some random patrol/world location once per month. The people who find them in their hiding spot will get some rare or limited armor/shader/sparrow/etc.
Hello fellow guardians! Let's be honest guys I'm getting a bit tired of playing the raid. I know I don't have a lot of raid completions in my name and here are a few reasons: - assembling a fire team can be a real pain in the ass. - after some time in the raid there are always some players who quit because the team either suck or they don't have the time - it's so freaking repetitive. When you want your endgame game gear you have to play the same thing over and over again and nothing ever changes (challenge mode, fair enough) So I want to propose a new game mode. A three player mode called frontier assault. The dream of commander zavala coming true. Expanding the city beyond it's walls. The black garden is gone, the kell of Kells is captured and Oryx the taken king is no more. Time to act in my opinion. You start at the wall with three guardians beyond the wall in an attempt to push the front lines. You will have a mission similar to a strike with at the end an ultra boss to kill with mechanics similar to a raid boss where each guardian has a different task instead of just shooting the boss. After you finish this you will get your reward. Now after this you will get a message from one of the vanguard commanders telling you a greater advisory lies ahead. Now you will enter the next mission is similar to the one before with increased difficulties. Now maybe throw in some modifiers for fun. Of course this strike will have better rewards then the one before. This you way can go on forever as long as you can with increasing difficulties and increasing rewards. Rewards should start of at something like 280-289 light and the next 290-299 and so on. Now for spawn system in the first mission you can just revive and also for the second. Now for the third you can only spawn in a safe zone and the only way to get back to your team is by fighting your trough a bunch of enemies. For the last mission the you won't respawn similar to the raid. Now a few different assaults can be entered a fallen one, a taken one and a few elite cabal soldiers have found their way to earth. Tell me what you think and maybe some extra ideas??
Raids, Raids, oh yeah and some Raids....

Add the city as an explorable social space. I'm thinking some shops for gear, consumables, vanity items, sparrow dealership, weapon depots for the different companies (Omalon, Hakke, etc.) and a space arena where you can use your ships to battle other guardians. And a defensive playlist where the objective is a giant space station r something…idk just brainstorming here.

1 AntwortenI make a button in the middle of the screen everywhere you go that ends the game and rejects the disc because that's literally the only thing I know how to do with that software.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von C-Sentinel: 2/8/2016 8:52:37 PMRevamp Patrol entirely. We're trying to reclaim our lost worlds. When i'm bored I should feel like jumping into patrol, not going to the crucible. Also, the "return to orbit" function is too free and needs to be limited. First off, no levels. All enemies adapt to your light level. If you are light 300, you fight 300 enemies. Light 5, light level 5 enemies. Remove ALL missions, raids and strikes from the planet selection screen. Add a section to the "Quests" page. This is where you launch missions now. You can only do when already on a planet. If i'm on the Dreadnaught, and want to do King's Fall, i shouldn't have to go to orbit just to start it up. We have fireteams, so why don't we have Firebases? Instead of one patrol spawn, there are five. Each one with it's own name (i.e Firebase Echelon). These spawns have to be "unlocked" by clearing out enemy forces and paying a Vanguard Set Up Fee (10 marks) now there is a spawn, with a vault, gunsmith, and cryptarch. You shouldn't need to head back to the tower for everything. This also gives a sense of progression . Next, unlock all story mission areas. If you've seen it before, you can go there. I should be able to see the Citadel withour fighting Skolas or Taken, or the black garden without having to kill it's heart. Finally, Darkness Zones. These are areas where the enemies are 10 light above you. There are more enemies, and they are tougher. These will be in Key Areas (Citadel, Devil's Spire, Black Garden, etc). You cannot return to orbit or log out in these areas. In each darkness zone there is an area boss. Killing them gives rare materials and big chances at legendary and exotic engrams, and even exclusive shaders and emblems. More NPCs. It would be nice to run into an NPC guardian and help them out with a quest or such. Also, who is to say there are no survivors outside the city? Let's bring them to safety. Finally, increase patrol size to 6, bring back old public events (wolves and blades of crota), reduce the amount of times taken spawn, more patrol missions that are harder and have more meaning, make more chests, with higher chances for legendaries, more secrets, and overall just more to explore.

A series of new exotic weapons that are the result of certain lesser foundries tampering with enemy weapons. A Vex and Cabal archeotype Pulse Rifle anyone? How about a Cabal and Taken Railcannon (What the sleeper simulant should have been)? Lots of fun exotics are coming guardians ways as we tamper with forces we barely understand.

Private matches. I have about 20 friends who would be back in destiny if they had private matchmaking and a survival mode but mostly private matches.
