I've said before that trials need a normal and hard mode.
And to keep it fair, if you've been flawless in hard mode, you are automatically banned from normal mode.

Trials does have a normal mode. The crucible.

A 290 light Trials, with 310 light trials gear and weapons for rewards. Then a 310 hard mode, with rewards up to 320. The raid has normal and hard modes. Crucible is not trials. That's like saying a strike is a "normal" raid. It's not the same.

There would have to be something to prevent players like me that have gone flawless 100+ times from going into normal and devastating beginners.

Allow them to play in it, but reduce their reward. Less incentive to play.

Yeah. Honestly I'd say give them no legendary rewards at all. If they want to carry their friends that's fine, but they shouldn't get rewarded for smashing brand new crucible players.
