Yea Doom will be dope, sounds like they went back to their roots for this one, should be more akin to unreal tournament and the original Doom gameplay.

No it's made by Epic (guys that did gears of war) but the combat on the original Unreal was very similar to the old Doom combat. Very heavy on movement and laying down a lot a lead, as compared to today where most games take use of cover and precision shooting.
