The Chaperone
Been seeing a bunch of people say "if you can't do the chaperone quest then don't deserve the gun"
was mad as hell for a while until I realized that's true
Suck at crucible will never finish the quest. Have a good day everyone.

edit: finally got it! great advice from everyone here. since there was no mayhem i just played inferno control and camped zone areas and it took me less than 10 matches probably. When i had bad games (ALWAYS CATHEDRAL OF DUSK -- THAT MAP IS HORRIBLE) i just equipped my juju and charged my super then swapped back to TLW. Rocked a steady 2-4 K/D so the tips helped a lot thanks to everyone.
edit 2: shotgun portion took me 4 matches cause we mercy ruled halfway through the third match :/ definitely much easier than the TLW part (correct grammar stfu) if anyone wants to do the strike send me a message on psn, im on ps4
final edit: done strike, pretty sure the guys i was with cheated but done regardless. Good luck!

2 AntwortenI had the 'good' fortunate of getting this quest right when SRL was in full swing and was able to do that first part without the pain.. Had some really good matches for the shotgun part and only took about 5 games to complete. I just took my time and played even more cautious than I normally do in Crucible. The strike wasn't as bad as I thought - except the tank.. I hate that part of the strike. (Sleeper made short work, but still hate it). As for the actual Brothers - I used my Invective and made sure to land a couple hits once and awhile during the 3 stages and the next thing I knew the Strike was over.. I remember seeing it in one of the reveal trailers and knew from that point the Chaperone was the one exotic that I was definitely look ing forward to get - even after learning of the Crucible requirements. Good luck on the strike and enjoy your new toy..

I completed the quest in Inferno Clash. No radar made it easier to run and gun. Did it in about 2 days.

3 AntwortenPlay mayhem, equip last word, kill players, run away, and unequip last word. Repeat.

Keep it going, you don't have to finish it in quick time just chip away at it, once you get the TLW kills out the way the remainders pretty straight forward, the two brothers special can be a bit full on (took me 2 attempts) but the chaperones pretty decent and it's an achievement.. You can do it, I did and check my stats I'm freakin awful, I only play for fun

6 AntwortenAfter I went unbroken I got to 75% and got 20 kills. I abused heavy ammo (harrowed quillums) and after 10 games I completed it, final kill was a triple with a suros JLB 47 :) BTW almost nobody joins for the shield bros strike to get the gun, I got super lucky and joined a group at the end. Hopefully the gun is good because I'm getting it today

3 AntwortenGo into classic free for all with friends and just kill them over and over again (head shots will give you more) getting medals also helps (double kills, triple kills, kill streak medals etc.)

1 AntwortenHey. Let me let you in in a tip. You know how I did the TLW part? SRL. That's it. And if SRL comes back, do it. And have TLW equipped. After about 50 or so races, you should get the first part done.

1 AntwortenYou know, I finished that quest the first week I could. I don't even remember the requirements for it. I am sorry it is giving you a lot of trouble. Just play smart and defensively. It'll get done in no time if you do this. I promise.

1 AntwortenBe patient I consider myself about an average crucible player and it took me about 7-8 matches. Just don't die and play defensive. It's worth it in the end. A very fun gun to use and definitely worth it in my opinion.
