Beware of the Banhammer
The Security Response Team just issued restrictions from Crucible to first time offenders for cheating! Play nice out there or you may find yourself unable to play Crucible activities.

56 AntwortenHahaha your ban hammer is a joke. Here is the theory ok. If you guys actually banned people for doing the crap you say you ban them for, people wouldn't be doing it anymore. For example tea bagging. If I report a guy for tea bagging and you guys ban him and every one else that does then people would be afraid and not do it. That being said I know you do not because people still do it. So where is your ban hammer or swift ninja justice? Nowhere

Did trials of Osiris yesterday. We ran into people hacking, and they got there supers every game I bet they didn't get banned even though my team reported them.

Bungie, do I need to cheat to win in your -blam!-ing game? Because that is what everyone is doing, so why can't I? Oh wait, the banhammer is coming down? Can't wait to have a fair trials match where everyone takes damage and moves at the correct speed. I figure that if I can't damage the other people, I shouldn't be damaged. And I also figure that your theoretical banhammer should strike more often.

2 AntwortenI think cheaters should have there gamer tag listed publicly. Like a forum of shame for those that use udp attacks and lag switches in order to win. It's gotten do bad lately, it seems about every fourth match in crucible I'm matched with a cheater... Like all games this style of gameplay, the replay ability is in the PVP and Bungie need a permanent fix for this.

Unfortunately I think a lot of players think people are cheating and most of the time it's one players connection in a match causing lag and screwing it up for everyone else. Don't know how Bungie can fox this. That being said I know there are cheaters out there some people just can't handle defeat so they do anything and everything they can to win. With technology ad advanced as it is I am sure bungie will be able to tell if someone is legitimately cheating.

Dude sets off my trip mine by standing on top of it and let's it go off and nothing happens. Seems like people are really scared of the ban hammer. Edit # 1: shot a Titan point blank with golden gun. He wasn't in super mode, didn't have oversheld, and nothing to reduce incoming solar damage. so can someone explain how they survived without cheating before I report them.

1 AntwortenDropping the Banhammer is no small thing. It means that you, the people in charge of the game are willing to deal with those that actually deserve a ban or just trolls that report others for the hell of it. Meaning when you tell us that the Hammer is live, you really have to stick to your guns while giving others fair judgement. I hope you guys are actually looking and investigating each case (ie. Seeing if a player has a history of constantly reporting for no reason), not only for us, but for your guys sake as well. Because if you guys fail to enforce, then you've really lost the trust of many players regarding their safety, and it'll take work to get back. I have much faith in you guys as of right now, and I hope that doesn't change. Love this game. Stay cool.

I just lost the opportunity to do the king's Fall raid because the game said i didn't have the taken king legendary edition, but i did have the TTK and i was playing it yesterday i don't know if all of this happened cause i was suspected of cheating or playing unfairly. can you help me understand the situation I'm having? P.S this happened on the Ps4 thank you Bungie.

4 AntwortenGreat, ban hammers. Haven't seen it go in action. Still see "laggers" glitching around the map and somehow shotgunning you from across the map. We had green bars and they had green bars. I do not know whats up bungie but your hammer got nerfed.

6 AntwortenHas anyone else seen people using a super twice. Because in doubles a hunter got to use his blade dancer two times within two rounds. I've also seen a Titan do the same, is this a glitch or is there a breech in the game

Fix ur pvp or start banning ppl. It's not hard to do. Had a stupid rift match where I picked up the spark and slammed it and said they killed me even tho I didn't even die.
