Everyone uses the same guns
The meta is really feeling dull. Tlw vs tlw battles feels like anything can happen. Either half the shots miss or they dont. And why arent there more snipers that are equal to the 1000 yard? The pusle rifle meta felt the best because that took more gunskill. Sorry i know im ranting but damn. Im sure most of you know how i feel. I really wish there was space for more guns to be used competitively.
EDIT: wow I did not expect so many responses. Its nice to see so many different opinions. I agree that this isnt the worst meta but its not the best either. Theres over 100 guns in the game and yet we can only use a select few to stand a fighting chance. That's where i think pvp needs some improvement.

Exactly! And why can't we upgrade some of our favourite Y1 as well then!? I always thought one of the reasons is that we use a bigger variety and find new guns we like. Well most people didn't and there would be more variety of people can actually use the guns they want to...

4 AntwortenI think Destiny should implement a random gun type buff daily. This would help get players to use guns they normally leave in the vault or just delete. The buff should be significant but not outrageous. I hate being forced to use specific guns and types of guns Bungie dictates us to use but so many of the guns in Destiny stink when going up against the very few top-tier guns in Destiny. I'd much prefer that when the auto buff is active no other gun can compete against it. When the sidearm buff is active it destroys any shotgun. Let's get some variety and dynamic gameplay that actually works. Maybe I want to run the raid with a handcannon or sidearm. With a random buff we could try and actually be efficient. I've [b][u]never[/u][/b] saw anyone use a handcannon or sidearm in the raid. Have you and was it effective? I've barely seen sidearms in PvP. It's like they added a completely new gun type but made it so godawful it's as useful as our ships.

Ive used the Vex Mythoclast today and I had fun. Just try out other guns than the meta and you'll still be doing good

5 AntwortenPlayed a few games of elimination and everytime I was killed it was from a sniper,nobody on the opposing team used anything but a sniper 100% of the time.After a few matches I didn't care and just stood in place and danced,no point trying. Problem is they need to take heavy completely out of PvP and replace the heavy drops(twice in a game) with special.Force players to actually use a primary weapon sometimes.

Sadly as long as bungie keeps going with the nerf/buff way rather than bringing sub par options into the realm of Meta options nothing will ever change. I always thought the idea of nerfing something was dumb.

We shouldn't have one OP weapon type every update to BALANCE GUNS. It's outrageous, I've played games for 14 years and never once had I seen something like this in any game before.

3 AntwortenIt was my 1st real IB, and I used either Mida, Fabian or Hard Light, depending on the map. Mida, I think, was an excellent weapon for rifts because (in addition to it having good overall stats) of the agility bonus. Running fast was important for running sparks, plowing the way for impatient spark runners, and relocating after spawning. I might have used another scout rifle, but this speed bonus was just too useful. Strikers skating, shoulder charging and using Mida are really, really fast.
