Everyone uses the same guns
The meta is really feeling dull. Tlw vs tlw battles feels like anything can happen. Either half the shots miss or they dont. And why arent there more snipers that are equal to the 1000 yard? The pusle rifle meta felt the best because that took more gunskill. Sorry i know im ranting but damn. Im sure most of you know how i feel. I really wish there was space for more guns to be used competitively.
EDIT: wow I did not expect so many responses. Its nice to see so many different opinions. I agree that this isnt the worst meta but its not the best either. Theres over 100 guns in the game and yet we can only use a select few to stand a fighting chance. That's where i think pvp needs some improvement.

1 AntwortenSomething I can never understand is that much of the community always complains about bungie's nerfs/buffs. League of legends does it all the time, and after every update people will eventually find what is strong in that current meta and abuse it. Sure it may be annoying sometimes but their community accepts that that's the meta and adjusts accordingly. I'm not saying everyone, but a lot of people are never content with bungie's updates (which some are always to be expected). The reality is that there will almost always be a weapon or archetype that is slightly stronger than others, and people will abuse it. It's the way it goes with games that have such a wide variety of weapons. Sorry for the small rant, I normally don't post but this is just an observation.

You people have no idea... Everyone seems to misunderstand what "meta" means, and everyone who pipes up about it just seems to copy their load out from some youtuber or other... It doesn't matter what you use, you're either good or you're not. I run with Haakon's Hatchet, Invective/1kys and Unseeing eye. Pretty much all my kills are primary... And the only thing I seem to get consistency outgunned by is suros.

Everyone uses the same guns in most shooting games don't understand why people make such a big deal on destiny!!! Least with destiny the best gun changes every few months

You say even one thing bad about those weapons then the sweatys are down your throat calling you out on everything. Happened to me earlier which was hilarious. I got destiny for both ps4 and xbone with xbone being my main. Ill be a sweaty on ps4 and see how it goes while i have a shit kd on my xbone since i like to use every weapon i own.
