81.5% in trials.
In Y1, sniping was harder, due to thorn and it's 2 headshot DOT, to me at least.
Now, I feel shot gunning is harder, idk. I can't seem to consistently get 1 hit kills. Fusions are terribly inconsistent.
I would say doing well with a shotgun is harder, not trading kill for kill. Honestly, if you were in a 1v3, what secondary would you rather have. Sniper? Or shotgun.

I'd rather have a sniper in a 1 v 3. I have more shotgun kills than sniper kills, and am not great with snipers, but at least I have a chance with a sniper; with a shotgun, I would have to be facing the dumbest team to win that battle.

With the shotgun you have to follow every shot up with a melee. I often fire to early but get a ton of follow-up kills with the melee. It is easiest to do while using a warlock due to the melee reach.

Depends on my enemies. LAB and ms Watts consistently shotgun over sniping
