SNIPING TAKES MORE SKILL THAN ANYTHING
Scoring dome shots with a sniper rifle in Pvp is the most skill reliant way to get kills in the crucible.
Nothing comes close to requiring the same amount of skill, shotgunning ? Pfft fusions? Dont think so. Primaries? Really? Not a chance.
Before you tell me im wrong, at the top of your response please write your precision kill percentage with sniper rifles.
Edit: Im strictly talking about headshots here. Not 2 body shots, or 1 body shot and a primary mop-up. Strictly headshots only

Aiming ANY primary at an active target, hitting head shot, and following up with another 3 headshots is, in my opinion, more difficult than 1 sniper headshot on a usually unsuspecting target.

1 AntwortenIt takes a little skill. If they took away the high aim assist then yes it would undoubtedly take a high amount of skill to get kills with a sniper.

Precision % ~73 (In Crucible) If snipers take so much skill, than why are so many people able to use them? Every game I go into, there are at least 3 snipers on each team. Yes, it does take a certain amount of skill to consistently hit head-shots, but not as much as you might think. [b][][][][/b]

I don't know if snipers are a little op, but I will say they are definitely the most low risk/high reward option in the crucible.

Every match is full of snipers get head shots left right and center yet apparently it takes loads of skill to do it. If it was a tough skill to learn there would be a lot less people doing it. Sniping is optimum right now because most primaries time to kill is slightly to slow, meaning the last word sniper is the clear winning combination. Body shot, quick switch to last word, dead, or the other way round. Your precision kills percentage alone means nothing unless it's still high with a lot of sniper kills.

Destiny takes no skill whatsoever. You want a real game, try Battlefield sniping

2 AntwortenOnly skilled sniper I've seen is the guy who chased me and two mates around a skirmish map with no land beyond and 1k. Thats right! CHASED us down like he was running a scout rifle and shotty combo. Head shots while jumping down stairs at us. Head shot me with nlb then headshot my mate with 1k then no scope body shot our 3rd guy with 1k and finish him off with a melee. ALL DONE IN LESS THAN 4 OR 5 SECONDS. Then proceeded to hunt us down after respawn and do it again. I still can't remember seeing his two teammates the whole match. I think we managed to kill him 2 or 3 times while we were all in the region of 0.3 kd at the end. Hard scoping for a 50% ratio isn't skilled. That's all I do to get my precision shot bounties. At least I have the decency after them to get up from my camp chair and go fire a pulse rifle or throw a grenade.

Sniping takes the most thumb skill unless you are using KBM in which case you are just cheating. Using a shotgun is all about situation awareness and movement, same with fusions. You make the fight extremely easy or extremely hard for yourself depending on your positioning.

I would say using a fusion rifle takes the most skill. High risk low reward.

Because they require skill and give the reward of a OH Kill, but when people start abusing and doing body shots, that right there is bullshït As many pointed out, you have no sway or flinch, bullets do not experience physics, etc Sometimes that red glow is the only thing that you see before you die to a quickscope or to a camper, can you evade it? Sure, but the guy would probably kill you with their primary or another guy will shotgun you to death Sniping doesn't need a nerf, it's still as in Year 1, people don't realize LDR 5001 and 1K YS are almost the same, with the exception of higher aim assistance in the LDR Am I salty? No I got a lot of 1K YS and Stillpiercer shots in my head this iron banner Sniper DO require skill, but everyone can pick up one know and start using them since almost everyone will use one

2 AntwortenMy hallowed defiance of Yasmin is my bitch. It's my go to try hard weapon in trials and any other form of pvp. It still takes skill to use like any other sniper but I love it.

8 AntwortenHow? Shotgunning imo takes more skill, fusion rifles and sidearms take wayyyyyy more skill. Shotgunning requires good cqc, quick thinking, good reaction time. Fusion rifles require high stability to land all shots, good reaction time, good timing when firing at a moving or closing in target, good hand coordination. Sidearms are kind of the same.

2 AntwortenI got bored with snipers and shotguns for crucible. I used to use efrideets spear and hit constant quickscopes with it and used to use found verdict all the time. They got boring and now I prefer fusion rifles.
