Does Anyone Like Stormcaller?
Warlock main here and I must confess. I despise this subclass. Here are my reasons.
-It is the source of a lot of hate for warlocks because of its duration and kill potential.
-It has the worst grenades out of any other subclass in the game.
-It's neutral game is horrifically bad because you have to use transcendence in order to get its duration to a useable state.
-Most warlock user that I know have one intellect discipline build for all 3 subclasses so you spend ages waiting for your melee to charge so you can actually use transcendence and in the mean time you have to avoid using any of your abilities.
-The super is literally you hold down R1 and go forward. It really is incredibly boring.
-The jumps are horrific like all warlock jumps except focused burst.
Truth be told I wouldn't mind seeing this class get pasted if it meant a voidwalker buff and [b]sunsinger support passives[/b] instead of those burn perks.
Anyone else in the same boat?

The only character that I'd have as intellect and discipline would be voidwalker. Storm and sunsinger would definitely be discipline and strength. And as a warlock main the only time I use this class is during golgoroth. I've never really liked the subclass. Only used it for maybe the first week in the crucible

4 AntwortenFalse. If you want to use the correct build, look at my stormcaller. People doesnt realize how good pulsewave is. Super itself is not op, melee is ridiculous. Its not boring and does take skill to use. Just like any super. Grenades are a disappointment and stormgrenade takes ages to activate so its useless against anyone with a brain. Arcbolt is pretty much the only logical choise but sadly it was nerfed to the ground. Thats why everyone should go with intellect/strenght build and spam supers and snipemelees. It is the perfect shotgun class.

Warlock main and I'm cool with all the subclass. Maybe a few tweaks here and there but nothing game breaking

Bearbeitet von Malfeitor: 2/3/2016 8:39:24 PMIntelligence, discipline build work well when you use Monte Carlo, then combine it with Claws of Amakara. As for perks used I prefer perks that benefit the neural game. Balances in the synergy helps the class more.

Neutral game is bad? Arcbolt tags, 50m long melee range? Perfect synergy with Tlaloc? What do you want lol, the class to make up for gun skill?

Stormcaller is so OP everybody complains about the hammer and bow but Stormcaller can kill an entire tam multiple times and has strong shields

another warlock main here and i have few compliants with stormcaller -storm grenade not killing after full duration -most abilities are stupidly loud i can bear with the neutral game because of perpetual charge just most of the neutral game really leads to 2 effective builds unlike voidwalker or sunsinger

2 AntwortenI like it, but I always feel dirty whenever I use my super. The feeling of using your super at the same time as a bladedancer and stealing their kills is just too much guilt.

The INT/DIS thing is certainly an issue. I need to get DIS/STR gear but haven't had time for it.

Wow, warlocks get a roaming super that lets them lead from the frontline and people got batshit. It's not like hammers where you could get head sniped and not die. Not like hammers or goldengun that can instantly kill everything else from range. Was never op before, isn't now. Get bent

I love them for PvE! You throw a grenade and kill Thralls, you hit a Thrall with melee and throw a grenade. And so on .. You can kill tons of adds this way.

You have to capture B or clear the path to the Rift somehow
