Bungie, i beg you to take a look at RNG.

Bungie, please look at it. The way it is it cant be right. I have played IB the entire day. Not for rep because i hit rank 5 yesterday, but for loot drops. I intended to grind it to get a perfect chest piece for my warlock and a 320 ghost. I was expecting a grind for perfect rolls and if i was lucky the ghost, but in the end after the entire day of playing i only got 1 scout with bad rolls. A entire day of playing and only that drop is not how it supposed to be right? I know Destiny is grinding and i have nothing against that, but changes of loot drops being this low is not grinding. Right now the game doesnt feel rewarding in any way. I am not asking to just hand us loot, but i have played more then 20 matches today. You would suggest that you atleast get like 3 or 4 rewards. Especially since i already grinded to rank 5. And since i didnt get any gear drop in that time, i kinda was hoping it would drop then. So please Bungie, i am begging you to take a look at RNG and loot drops in general. Make the game feel rewarding again so it is worth grinding. I know i will grind again tomorrow, but i am scared that it wont bring me anything. I am legit scared that i am just wasting my time. edit: was asked to change the tag to Feedback instead of Destiny. Was told it would have more changes to be seen by devs. Maybe even Cozmo and Deej may grand me there opinions now. edit: since Banner has ended for me, and a few more minutes for the others, i decided to make this edit and will try to keep the post up so Bungie will see it and hopefullu act. I have played around 75 matches after i hit rank 5. 75 matches and the only things i gotten were a 317 ghost, scout with decent perks and a pair of boots. So that is 1 reward every 25 matches. How can RNG be this punishing for the grinders? If i had gotten drops during my grind to rank 5 i would have understood it a little, a little but not that much. You want us to grind, but will not reward the grind. You have to act Bungie, this is pushing people away faster then new games are coming. We all know Destiny is grinding. We all are willing to do that but right now we are not rewarded for that grinding. Right now its just a big lottery. "Will RNG bless you? Nope try again for the next 10 weeks." Because thats how long i am waiting for a 320 ghost for example. Someone in the reply's below said this: Destiny is a loot based game that doesnt reward loot. I am sorry to say this but that is very true. And that is also what is pushing me away from the game i love. Why else would i have over 2000 hours in this game? last edit: i am going to make this last edit. Unless i get a reply from Bungie, all i will do is bumbing it forward. Your reward system is not rewarding. Instead it is punishing players that are grinding. And for what reason? So we play longer? So we dont leave the game since we have a 320 light character? That isnt right Bungie. It is working against you every day more and more. Instead of letting people play longer, it is pushing people away from playing. It is making them feel like they are wasting there time. The game has such a strong and amazing feeling to it. It can keep itself alive even with a more rewarding RNG. Why? Because there is always a item to aim for. And even if you have all the items, you want it all to be max light. So you will keep on playing. And that player who will have everything at highest light possible will leave untill new content come, but he will have so much playtime that it doesnt matter. My personal experience right now is that Destiny is pushing me away. The combonation of being dissapointed with loot drops every week and not getting item then i am aiming for no matter what light they are is making me frustrated with Destiny. Like the post says, i grinded the hell out of IB rift. Not just for that 320 ghost, but also for a chest piece with the perks i wanted. But instead of getting chest pieces that just didnt have the god perks for me, they didnt drop at all. Nothing dropped. 2 days of grinding and nothing to show for it. If weapons and gear dropped with bad perks, i atleast had the marks and materials for dismanteling then. Then it would have gave me the feeling of just not getting the roll i wanted, but i tried. Fun needs to be brought back to Destiny. A RNG that rewards the player for all the grinding that he or she is doing. Thats when players will come back instead of leaving. And maybe this will help. These are the things i want to do. A real list of grinding that i have since TTK came out and still stuck on number 1. 1: reach max light. 2: max light with the armor stats and perks for the subclass i am using in the raid (int-dis-str) 3: have max light with armor stats and perks for all subclasses 4: all exotics gear and weapons collected and at max light. 5: using every weapon and decide for myself what is good or bad about them and if they fit me as player. 6: weapons that i liked, getting good rolls for them. 7: getting those good rolls to max light. Those are just a few. In year 1 it was alot easier to become max light and have weapons at max light. Rerolling made it easy to have the perks you want on weapons. Even too easy in my opinion. But atleast it was a more rewarding grind then it is now. And with that i will end this post. It is a wall of text right now so to short it for those not willing to read it all: RNG is not rewarding the players that are grinding the game. This needs to be looked at and fixed. It is pushing people away instead of letting them play longer and more hours.
