This is one of those guns, along with thorn, that frankly never should have been made. To make matters worse it's tied to a class that has the subclass with the best neutral game currently that really doesn't need to make use of the super to be good.
Tlaloc and thorn or so much better than the other exotics and legendary weapons that frankly I have no idea what Bungie was thinking. We have archetypes for a reason within weapon classes and having a boost that big with no real trade off is insane.
Any good player knows the value of trading a weapon like that for some super kills.
If you don't think Tlaloc is broken, it, along with still piercer, are the reasons why class specific stuff is banned in sweats.
Edit: forgot how many people play the crutch class aka Warlocks. Preparing for salt and flaming.
Edit: Baffles me that people think that MIDA is op. MIDA rewards headshots in ways that other scout rifle archetypes dont
Edit: love the people who just mute. Seriously I get a kick out of it.
Edit: nowhere in this post did I ask for a nerf. I'm simply saying that guns like this shouldn't be made in general and thing them to a specific class is even worse. Class specifics are great if they are fair, but unfortunately like with most things Titans got shafted, hunters got some decent stuff, and warlocks got the best.
Edit: if you think holding on to a super is somehow a hindrance for a sunsinger.....

1 AntwortenOh look...A hunter running MIDA and 1KS. Also complaining about a class. NOTHING TO SEE HERE.
-
7 AntwortenActually, Taloloc, Ace of Spades, Fabian Strategy and Thorn are banned. As well as the exclusive legendaries.
-
Stahp it.. All those sweaty matches got you salty af
-
U never should have been made
-
Ahem. The crutch class would be hunters.
-
Tlaloc is balanced. In order to fully benefit from this gun you must hold on to your super. Nova bomb is effective and can easily shutdown other supers. Sunsinger with radiant skin can be extremely hard to deal with especially when spamming firebolt nades with super burn and holding on to stormtrance is crazy talk. Mida can very easily do what tlaloc does and doesn't require you to hold off on your super. Tlaloc is fine.

1 AntwortenCan't remember last time I got killed by it..
-
No conspiracy theory d should have never been made lol the range is a hella lie
-
1 AntwortenGuns like Tlaloc are exactly what I think exotics should be; fairly basic weapons with a perk that makes it singularly unique and powerful. Something that makes you think "I really want to use that". The difficulty is making each exotic unique but comparable with each other so it's not entirely obvious which you should use in a specific situation (Year 1 Thorn in Crucible for example, or Gjallarhorn in PvE).

Also, isn't pocket infinity banned from sweats?
-
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. No
-
Taloc is fine they just need to buff the Fabian strategy so that is isn't the joke of class exotic weapons.
-
2 AntwortenCrimson doubles, Sunsinger enraged with Tlaloc. Calling it now. Prepare for the salt
-
1 AntwortenBeen having fun with it in IB, fun way to counter all the MIDAs
-
-
I use Tlaloc in trials
-
What's this sweats you talk of?
-
1 AntwortenAdmittedly, I only PvP during IB but if we're talking crutches I'd have to go with Sunbreakers. Those hammers one hit you, in Super form, from extreme range and they don't even have to connect. The splash damage is crazy. Just my observation from the last 2 IBs.

I have yet to het my tlaloc but its PvP dickheads like you that are the reason I can't use my thorn in PvE.... you know the actual fuking game?!
-
To be honest, I main as a warlock and was delighted to finally find a gun that was awesome. I'd prefer to use my exotic slot for something else in PVE but for PVP it's my go to weapon. Love that gun. It's just so well balanced and I can head shot a lot easier than with any other gun. Few shots to the head in rapid motion and it's done. Only problem is whether to use my super or not when I have it. No sweats needed.

I like grapes
-
I never use Tlaloc, but Ace of Spades is better.
-
Tlaloc is a great concept, a gun that allows you extra power (but not too much) in return for sacrificing an aspect of your game. I don't have a warlock, but if I did, I would get him a Tlaloc.
-
It's so good but rarely used. I don't have a problem with it. Don't make this post if you want crucible to stay like that
-
4 AntwortenFor no rea trade off? Refraining from using a super isn't a far trade off? Yea I won't argue for a second tlaloc is very good, but that gun isn't the problem, I'm guessing you didn't whine about having no other weapons to really pick from but mida and 1kstare if you want to compete, the fact that another gun is entering to meta is nice, all exotics should be very relevant but nerfing the top ones isn't the problem, buffing the underused ones would be the fix here. Complain all you want I feel tlaloc is a great weapon that's fine the way it is. And I mained a warlock all the way til hard mode Crota then flipped to a hunter so I've used ace of spades more which when actually using I do better with that gun then I do tlaloc
-
1 AntwortenI'll use it for pve but when it comes to pvp I'm not holding radiance long enough to see tlaloc out perform MIDA. MIDA is good all the time. Tlaloc is only good if you never use your super. And no one uses it for crucible lol
