Vote if you want Legendary weapon reforging back.
Please vote and bump!

My opinion on the reforge exchange:
[spoiler]You can only reforge weapons on Armsday.
Your Gunsmith rank will determine how many times you can reforge a single weapon on Armsday - for instance, rank 5 you can reforge a single weapon 5 times.
The exchange rate should be a hefty amount so people can't abuse the reforge system like they could in House of Wolves - for example, 1,000 Glimmer, 5 Legendary Marks, 5 Motes, and 10 Weapon parts - or you must provide a duplicate of the weapon you want to reforge to infuse that weapon with, then you'd have to wait until next Armsday with the 3 options of perk combinations to choose from. Something like that.
If anything, at least bring back reforging in Iron Banner.
Please consider reintroducing reforging, Bungie.

No. -blam!- people running around with shortgayz and hidden hand and snapshot. And even then they hardscope doorways entire games.

I think for a high price you should be able to change the rolls he has on the armsday weapons, and only like 5 times, this way you don't have to wait for weeks to get a certain roll but can still "reroll" the guns perks. This would also keep the number of god roll legendaries to a somewhat minimum.
-
16 AntwortenSo even legendaries will be nerfed. No
-
8 AntwortenNo..everyone would have the same rolls just like the house of wolves Hand cannons had final round and luck in the chamber and people claimed they were "mini hawkmoons" Shotguns all had shot package and some perk in the middle that increased range (which is probably why every cried about shotguns having so much range) Sniper rifles all had hidden hand and/or unflinching Rockets all had grenades and horseshoes and tripod or clown cartridge

1 AntwortenI voted no. But I am for IB reforging. That made them special and worth the grind.
-
1 AntwortenYup. Tired of dumping all marks into legendary engrams that turn into -blam!-ing side arms and fusion rifles hoping for a good 1k stare.

2 AntwortenBump for IB Reforging.

I wouldn't mind not having reforging if the rng wasn't weighted so heavily towards armor. Out of all my faction packages about 90% are armor drops. Everytime I get a new monarchy package I am shocked when its not a chest piece.

3 AntwortenReforging was one of the worst things destiny did in my opinion. Instead of trying to get a good weapon to use, people just got a good weapon and rolled it so it was exactly like everyone else's. People would sit in front of the gunsmith for way too long just re-rolling instead of playing. It was a slot machine in a game already based on rng. Infusion is one way that you can do something similar, but the price is higher. You still play for the drop, but you can spend to make it more useful. Any weapon (legendary or exotic) can be leveled. So those great rolls at lower level are still useful. A very limited form of re-forging could be ok. Like iron banner only or having it tied to arms day, but reintroducing the slot machine should not happen imo.

No... no... and hell no. Are you stupid?

1 AntwortenI thought rolling took a lot of the fun out of the game. It really killed the excitement for engrams.

I would say yes if it was much more costly. What broke it last time is that people easily rerolled over and over again and got that perfect roll. I know I did. How many people had Felwinter's with the 5 mile range? How many had Ash Factory with Tripod, G&H, and Warhead Verniers? Mini "Hawkmoon" hand cannons? All of us. Limited reforging I could live with, because it is frustrating trying to get a decent roll on some guns. And bring it back for IB guns. That was cool.

I think it should return but it needs some sort of reworking. The way it worked in HoW was broken and ruined the hunt for that perfect legendary. Maybe it's reliant on your gunsmith rank so that it brings more incentive to rank it up. It should also cost more than what it previously was and rerolling should have some sort of weekly cap. Maybe you only have a certain amount of rerolls a week and should cost legendary marks. So for example you could have a max of 5 rerolls a week which allows you to have 5 rerolls for any weapon you choose. You can choose the same weapon 5 times or mix the weapons up. It should cost 2500 glimmer, 25 legendary marks, 15 Motes Of Light, and 25 weapon parts per reroll. It would not change the attack value of your weapon, just the perks and exp progress. This would give people a chance to get the perfect roll for that legendary weapon but also not have it so abused like it was back in HoW. I will admit it really sucks to finally have that weapon you've wanted for a long time drop just to see it has bad or not very good perks.

1 AntwortenIt will be back soon. It's easy, already programmed "content", bungle can drop to silence us for a hr or 2.
-
3 AntwortenReforging should cost silver. Lol
-
2 Antworten"It ruins the experience of getting excited for your legendaries!" 1. Bullshit, it leaves room for disappointment. 2. I should be able to customize my weapons however the -blam!- I want.
-
4 AntwortenNaw real time suck, they will be useless next expansion
-
To a certain extent
-
I think it should just be for IB weapons, they were the best in year one, why not make IB weapons worth the grind again.
-
1 AntwortenI'd get behind it if it was something like a drop in a nightfall. I.e. - get a consumable to reforge a single item a single time. Make nightfall useful again and limit the endless amount of re-rolls. Like the idea of an arms day tie in somehow.
-
1 AntwortenI wouldn't mind if they made it steep to reforge a weapon. Imagine if you could choose what perks you wanted for all the trees, but it was ridiculously expensive. Like 200 Legendary Marks, a ton of motes and a ton of weapon parts and 25000 glimmer. It would take time and effort to be able to reroll more than one weapon and would eliminate rng Just a thought

1 AntwortenI think you should still be able to reforge Iron Banner weapons like in Vanilla and TDB but nothing else. The ability to reforge is what made Banner worth doing at that time.
