Although I loved weapon reforging for that perfect roll y1, It is game breaking and reduces replayability (although it does improve wasted vaultspace)

I don't know. On one hand, I could get perfect rolls on my weapons. On the other hand, so can everyone else. I would be cool with armor/ghost reforging though.

Im was weapon parts low for months from rerolling my hopscotch pilgrim trying to get it perfect only to have it nerfd a month later.

Please no, last time we had reforging we broke shotguns. Even when it was only iron banner guns we broke efrideets and feltwinters too

Whatever character completes the raid that week will earn the material, the next character will not. If a different character completes a different raid then the material will be earned, but the characters not used will not drop the material. The material lasts until weekly, reset to stop people saving them up and reforging loads at a time. After the reset hits the material will be removed from the guardians inventory, and the raid checkpoints will need to be completed to re-earn the material. This will mean it will be better to use it in the week but you won't be able to just constantly reforge. For example. Say you get that launcher with that G&H and Javelin, but doesn't have tripod or Spray And Play, and you have 4 of the material left. Do you take the roll or risk reforging? Do you use the other materials left on another weapon? [/spoiler] Reforge will be available on any vendor / Iron Banner weapon. You can reforge the final perk on raid and Trials weapons but the light would be dropped to its lowest possible. For example - Harrowed Quillims drops with 316 light and Persistence. Reforged. Final perk is rolled with Army Of One but light is dropped to 310 Normal Defiance Of Yasmin rolls with 307 light and Perfectionist. Reforged. Rolls with firefly and 300 light. Doctrine Of Passing rolls with 309 light and Rangefinder. After reforge - 300 with Counterbalance. (x = ramdom perk -) If a reforge material is used you will always roll with a perk different to what you had. Let's say the Doctrine you got with x is reforged, it will not roll with x. As soon as you reforge and get another perk the x perk will be added back as a roll possibility. When a vendor / Iron Banner weapon is reforged the light is lowered to 280. I miss it so much. Everyone is worried about bum rolls on shotguns. That's an easy fix. Remove range buffs from shotguns period. They went through and took several perks off of different weapon type pools. I agreed with this as it added balance. In HOW, I went through every single vendor weapon and rerolled them the way I like my weapons. Some things were amazing, others still sucked. It was fun and gave me something to focus on and find what became my favorite weapons. Allfate became my go to primary and stomped on thorn users and went toe to toe with red death. Most people couldn't believe it and we were finding hidden gems that made the meta a hell of a lot more fun.

I loved reforging and I was pretty pissed they took it away. I'm a PvE guy so I wasn't going for tryhard Crucible rolls but I hated getting a good gun with shitty perks.

Im not really sure there are too many god rolls to shoot for anyway... I have the iron banner shot gun with rangefinder, rifled barrel and up close and personal... its still not better than conspiracy theory or the party crasher. And even if you do get a god roll on a gunsmith weapon, it still barely competes with last word, mida or doctrine... otherwise, those gunsmith weapons would be "the meta"
