I have a .98 k/d with my warlock. That includes my many practice sessions and coin runs along with all the games I played wholeheartedly.
I laugh at the quotes that shares the message of my title because half of the players I see with such requirements have less flawless runs than I do.
The message:
K/D is not the only Stat that matters.
I'm in the top 3 percent of revives performed. Don't you think that counts towards a win? Overlook it.
All I'm saying is don't underestimate the skill of a Guardian just by a number and emblem, which is based on more luck than skill by the way. Also I have it. Easy to get.
Edit: You all take life WAY too seriously.
From .97 to .98 this weekend. Still climbing.

You look at elo which is how often they won and defeat enimies this is a much better indicator but kd still does matter a great deal. If you die twice as much as you kill you're a huge drag on the team

I sit afk in crucible matches for my leg marks and I have no idea what my kd is because crucible doesn't prove anything

Destiny is no longer what it use to be, now people are trying their hardest to make it the most hardcore try-hard game ever, sucking out all of the fun in the process.

High revive count=getting carried. Trust me I know from experience ;)

My k/d is subpar, but I'm good and making plays and finishing a game. That's why k/d requirements never bother me, I already have a great team. They know I'm good despite my stats, the guy who gets the most kills knows that it's the work of the team that allows him the glory.

27 AntwortenI tend to go with ELO rating. It takes into account the quality of competition. I personally end up playing with/against better players allot, which certainly does it's share of damage to the ego if you look at KDR alone. ELO takes into account the relative skill level between the winner and loser of each battle. I believe I read it is part of Bungie's hidden matchmaking calculations, but, either way, you can see where you stand at: Http://guardian.gg Enjoy.

5 AntwortenKd in trials in irrelevant. Ive been wrecked by kids with 0.9s. Besides most guys boost/inflate kds by hardscoping in the back. If you have a postive kd by rushing i think its much more relevant than by having a high kd b camping/headglitching

Lol. Ppl from lfg are ignorant and they expect you to carry them every game. The only way to tell if someone is good is if you play with them. But generally the higher the kd the better ppl are. Which is weird cuz I only ever lose in trials to ppl around 1.0 kd. Best move is to build up your friends list so u don't have to deal with the garbage on that site.

Joined a raid group for oryx, said 315+....leader was 306 light. Also was by himself and left me alone on the party so I got a group together and he showed up out of nowhere stating he said brb..so I kicked him out.

most of the people make requirements don't even make their own requirements, it's hilarious. cheap entertainment, saw a kid on lfg asking for 318+ 1.8 kd with truth the kid was a 305 .78 kd and no truth grim card.

My k/d has been doing well recently but because of blink shotgun days I'm trapped at 1.1. Also I've had periods where I experimented to see if doing bad does actually give you better rewards. The answer is no. You will never get want you want. Eyasluna will only drop for the person who did worse than you.

I don't have a problem with people asking for that. As long as they meet their own requirements. It's their group so they should be allowed to ask for whatever they want. I never use the forums tho I usually just run with my buddies and we go flawless.
