Ok so Bungie "fires" it's CEO and the new one comes in and we have four updates in week?! Is this part of Bungies new plan or just because PvP was completely fukked?
Either way it's different and its good.

Ceo's can't melt steel beams Lack of information had to do more with a big decision that had not been made Now that it has they can return to normal

I m wondering if Deej is currently being tested with those updates. To see if he can handle all the crap going on and re establish something with the community. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised.

All updates are the same song...finally a smart ceo
-
Depends on what you actually consider an update...lol. Most are just long winded updates about the next update....
-
2 AntwortenHonestly, this iron banner rift shit deserved someone getting fired.

2 Antwortentoo little too later understand vacation time, but you can't ignore something you claim to be a MMO for a month and then be like "oh hai guize!" right now it's damage control to the best they can we've seen it all before, don't kid yourself

4 AntwortenA step in the right direction at least.

Uh...What?

I thought they #1 Switched back to CBMM for IB then #2 new CEO then #3 Another matchmaking update.

Probably not a coincidence. Transparency was a long-standing community complaint. I bet he was keenly aware while he was COO. The board probably didn't have to say anything special. The weekly update, due out today, should be interesting, as well.

3 AntwortenMaybe the month of silence was to discuss internal changes that needed to be made and with the public's response to the last update, they finalized those changes. So far compared to Tuesday's lagfest, Wednesday and today seemed much more enjoyable. I'm appreciative of the consistency in communication this week but if they can take a step further and discuss the current meta and the future of destiny tomorrow, that'd be great.

2 AntwortenIt gives me hope.

Bungie is huge, their CEO is not involved in the decision making behind weekly updates hahaha he's concerned with the board and the board alone. At the executive level there is probably a CEO, a CFO a COO and then several VP level execs. One of those VPs is probably who deejs boss reports to so the communication is layers down.
-
Just a coincidence Changes will come though, give it time
-
Abit of hope

I'm just glad they're finally communicating with us a bit more. A few weeks ago we probably wouldn't have even been told about the CEO changes, I don't expect every post from them to contain awesome news/more content. Just keep letting us know what's going on, and what we can expect in the near future.

Proof Destiny is in trouble. Good that they fired the leader that ruined the game.
-
Glad that their being more transparent. That's what a company should be doing. Being more involved with the community and letting us know what is going on.
