Is 1000 stare, over used or unbalaced?
I personally think that the 1000 stare is being very unbalanced in the crucible. In Iron Banner, Control, Trial of Osiris there can be a 80% that the opposite team all have a 1000 stare.
Im not saying to be nerfed, I just want more weapons that are the same damage as the 1000 stare.
Also is becoming over used
As an MMORPG player, I think we might need different weapons to use. I think that almost the 90%of the people used this sniper.

Its the only viable year 2 high impact sniper that doesnt take exotic slot.. lack of selection legendary sniper wise is why you see it everywhere.. most the other legendary snipers are just low impact high rof good luck trying to res snipe with one of them..

It's basically the only weapon of its type in ttk. Stillpiercer is hunter exclusive and doesn't have normal scopes, eirene is just weird and people aren't used to the scopes and black spindle is a waste of an exotic slot

The only reason that you see it so much is because it's the only high impact sniper rifle with decent sights that isn't class exclusive and doesn't take an exotic slot.

You said it in the description their isn't enough high damage snipers that are able to kill off of res. Before ttk we had many more options. Now there are 4 one being black spindle not everyone's go to pvp exotic. Stillpiercer Hunter only. Eirene weird scopes that don't seem to work as well as normal scopes...leaving the 1k yard stare the only legendary with regular scopes and high res killing power impact. Bottom line more weapon diversity and this huge pantie bunching rage about that sniper never happened

It's just overused because 1) engram drops/rewards are infrequent. 2) description of legendaries gives you the same bad guns over and over again 3) there aren't many good legendary snipers year 2

You are really stupid individual. You realize there is no other sniper that has high impact and good scope in TTK :)? That's why everyone is using 1000 yard stare but how would you know, people that complains about snipers are the ones that never use them :) GOOD JOB BUD

Firefly is close to useless in pvp and since they fixed the damage dropoff on snipers range is never an issue. Although it increases the hitbox supposedly. It's just used because they're aren't many options out there unless you want a crappy scope.

2 AntwortenAs it is only 1 of 2 high impact non exotic snipers in TTK, its no surprise that it's everywhere. And it has high aim assist and better scopes than Omolon snipers. Not overpowered, but rather it's competition is rather lacking so it stands out.
