Comment here your experience with Iron Banner Rift (Data for Deej/Bungie)
Edit: Decided to wrote out better the results. This could ALSO help for Bungie/Deej data for matchmaking and what people think of Iron Banner Rift. Note that I have not play it yet, when I do I will add up my experience
Edit 2: Wow... seen a lot fo replies, thanks. From what I have see, its spawntrapping, sniping and camping for the msot time. Eithe rits the worse lag, or no lag, what people comment
There are foods and drinks on the counter, just dont make mess >_< I always need to clean up by myself
My experience:
Played 12 games, my first 4 were solo. GOD the lag, and camping is real. the 4 games there wasnt a fireteam. I never joined a midmatch game, but every single game was enemy team double heavy, and losing by 12k points.
With my fireteam, we instead were steam-rolling. I will be doing this IB soly for the scout rifle, and artifact for my titan (infuse)

I mean I haven't touched rift without a fireteam, and we're spread out over america so it's Hard to really tell

So far with matchmaking in peticular, it's totally lopsided. I'm either on a decent team that immediately gets broken up after the match or on a team where multiple people just stand there and die only to end with a 0.20 k/d ratio. I mean like 30 deaths...I understand rift is one of the more lopsided game types but I have hard time staying in a match with a 8k point difference and 5 mins of my life to waste left. And the people with horrible connections are impossible to hit, they just skip from point to point.

The lag was funny at first. But lag, an unbalanced weapon system, a camp friendly game mode, and cheap insta kills makes for a pretty boring experience

Rift game mode itself is a good idea (capture the flag) that was badly executed (spawn trapping). Bungie I know what you were trying for but you need to take rift back to the drawing board. As for rift being Iron banner... NO! I just want to shoot people, no major objectives. Just keep it control since that is what is has always been, but if you must, clash is fine as well.

1 AntwortenRift is the worse. Dumb mechanics. Terrible spawns and scoring makes no sense. When you spawn literally 5 times either in front of a super, heavy or someone scoring the rift, how are you suppose to respond to that? It's not just one game it's multiple either me doing it to the other team or them to me. Then the whole one spot both teams fight to camp just to grab the spark and push one team back into their spawn where you either score or get close and die and your team has the advantage to grab the camping again. Doesn't make sense to me and is not fun. But I love destiny and endure the pain for IB. Bungie needs to either fix Rift in general or change IB to be random 6v6 game types. This shit is terrible.

The lag has been so godawful post new matchmaking update that numerous times myself or others with the spark cannot dunk it.

My only thing is that 90% of all my matches have been on cathedral of dusk then then rest are mostly pantheon. Not the best maps for rift.

1 AntwortenMine has been amazing hit rank 5 last night on my main warlock. gunna hit rank 5 on hunter. after i tackle crota cause i feel like it. my titan is at rank 3.5 all solo playing seeing how servers were without friends an its been quite even ecept im mostly running the boards on my team

The spawns are dumb. The enemy is super close to dunking the spark, there's still enough time to save it.. [spoiler]I respawn in the enemy base...[/spoiler]

The lag is still SO very real. I don't know if players are cheating or just have poor connection.

If you wait to play until Thursday you've got a 25% buff on xp=less grinding Additional reputation gained for a...Day #Day of the Week % Increase Win (50 + )Loss (40 + )Bounty (125 + ) Tuesday 10% Wednesday 15% Thursday 25% Friday 40% Saturday 60% Sunday 100% Monday 150% If you guys aren't doing this, it helps save time emensly

Worst iron banner yet. I don't always have friends on to play. Just had 16 solo games all losses. What's the point of this shit if you must have a team to compete.

I play solo and its fine now. A red bar will appear and dominate more than before but its not as often. Rift is quite fun. Had some good games.

It's been pretty good. I play solo and I have can easily do the daily bounties. I have almost completed the weekly bounties.

It's hard to give anything constructive for this when I'm so anti-rift IB. That being said, I suppose the most annoying thing is the sense of "hopelessness". Not in a depressing sense, but like [i]there's nothing I can do to turn this around.[/i] On [b]Control[/b], I could at least try to capture the zones my team refused to get. On [b][i]Clash,[/i][/b] my shooting directly affects our performance. On [b][i]Rift[/i][/b], there's [i]very[/i] little one person (of average skill, playing solo) can do to turn a match.

Worst game mode for ib hands down should of went with mayhem clash or zone control over this b/s. Shit I'd rather play salvage. If people played the matches for objectives it would be another story. But without a fireteam like I play with, it's horrible for the solo player.
