Three of coins transparency ?
I think it should show when our Three of coins will be effective and not just when we have one activated.
To put it simply , we should only be allowed to use a three of coins when it will work like intended.
They came up with a patch to discourage people from spamming them which was a long time ago but they never specified the actual time limit we had until we could use another three of coins consecutively .
So to make it even simpler to understand , I think three of coins should work like heavy ammo or telemetry, we simply can't use it again until the time limit has passed and it has its increased drop rate effective again. This will help people from wasting their coins and getting more rewards from them.

I use one at a time and as soon as one is used up ( drop or not) i set my phone timer for 11 mins before popping another. I get about 1 exotic every 6 ToC this way

i normally say after getting an exotic out of one do 3-4 strikes and kill at least 4 ultra's before using another, works for me.

When you equip your 3 of coins - 1 at a time - it shows it's active in your load out screen - it increases your awards until you face your next ultra (or completed your pvp event) - you can load another in and so as it expires just don't use more than 1 at a time Because of rng - you will not always get exotic or anything - I found it's effective when used during weekley heroic strikes - as long as you stay in the Playlist your chances for rewards increase - without using 3 of coins - a post I found instructs to only use your coin on third strike - this has worked for me twice and my son once (just watch for the psion flayers on dust palace strike - they're not ultra bosses) - if you exit play list you lose the buff

2 AntwortenI actually like it better in it's current state because it will only be consumed when you fight an Ultra. So rather than having to worry about a countdown timer I'm only concerned with when I fight an Ultra. I can equip one and it won't ever time out. Overall, I think that the way that Bungie fixed them from being abused was reasonable without entirely crippling their purpose or effectiveness.

2 AntwortenDo this. Use one after every 3 crucible matches after the match begins. Probably get one in five. Don't use them any sooner/differently and see if it it works for you. It does for me

3 AntwortenI pay for them, i should be able to use one after another until i use them up. I am sick to death of this slowly doling out progress BS. If I make the time to play this stupid grind fest of a game I want Decent Drops. It's bullshit that the three of coins was EVEr introduced in the first place. Should just give a decent exotic drop rate with NO COINS.

I like the idea of 3oC. That we can possibly get exotics from any Ultra in any game event ..But yea. Bungie telling how they work exactly should be a given..but its not

YES! Exactly. I have no clue how 3oc works. I know there is some 15 minute cooldown, but when it starts or end is just a guess. Sometimes a crucible match takes 14 minutes and absorbs my 3oc. If it doesn't count, I rather know beforehand.

2 AntwortenThey (ToC) shouldn't even be in the game, nor should Moldering Shards they are an admission that the loot tables are broken and these are quick fixes, except that Oryx will steal 20 Shards off of you and then reward you with 2 Shards instead of the promised enhanced loot !!!

I just think it's random. Was farming the ultra knight a few weeks ago and drop me 3 exotics back to back to back. It only takes 2 minutes or so after the game loads to get to the ultra. But then there are the times I've gone and used 27 coins in a row and got nothing until the 28th and those were when I was farming strikes. Honestly these coins should not exist and ultras should have a drop rate equal to popping a 3 of coins or perhaps a slightly less chance.
