What is the strongest class in Destiny acording to the lore?
-
The think the balance between the 3 classes is such that without the other two, the one would fail. Warlocks study their enemies, but overlook the threat in front of them. Titans fight the threats in front of them, but overlook the threat on the horizon. Hunters will race to the threat on the horizon, but won't stop to study their enemies. The sub-classes tend to skew this somewhat, so that you end up with a mix of multiple classes. For example, within the Hunter Class: The Gunslinger is the pure hunter ideal. The Bladedancer mixes the Hunter ideal with the Titan ideal. The Nightstalker mixes the Hunter ideal with the Warlock ideal. All that to say that I believe, even in lore, all three classes were designed to be harmonious. The Traveler identified the three traits that would save humanity and imbued the ghosts with one of the three. Perhaps the reason why it takes so long for ghosts to find their guardian is because of this balance. The traveler ensure that all three aspects are balanced to prevent a particular ideal from dominating the City.

84 AntwortenA titan has survived the VoG by himself. A titan has headbutted a fallen kell to death A titan has single handedly fought off an army of vex (can't remember name, but not Kabr.) A titan has sacrificed himself for the good of a fireteam (morals are a strength) A team of titans has rivaled the strength of the city single handedly (sunbreaker mercenaries) so, if my calculations are correct, it is the Titlocker class.

35 AntwortenI'd say hunters. Just look at dredgen your. The strongest of guardians, lore wise. He killed so many others. Sure, it's bad but he's by far the toughest. Only guy who could kill him was the other hunter, who made the last word (shin malphur I think).

Id say titans. they were at the vanguard of all the wars and were always fighting all the time the survivors were the strongest ones. Hunters maybe because they did live in enemy territory but I get the impression that they spent most of their time avoiding conflict not in a war zone. And warlocks no way they only started fighting resonantly and more often than not play a supportive role.

Warlock.

Bearbeitet von Executor Hideo: 1/30/2016 12:44:06 AMOne class cannot rebuild our Golden Age alone. It is through the tireless work and dedication of Guardians of all types that we will rise. Hope is not born from the lone triumphs of a single king, but from the collective triumphs of the king in us all.

2 AntwortenWell they all have great lore. Kabr is my favorite Titan based on lore. Toland is my favorite Warlock based on lore. And either Shin Malphur or Praedyth is my favorite hunter

The Speaker is a Warlock. So was his replacement, Osiris.

Warlocks

All of them have their strengths and weaknesses. My favorite guardian from the lore would probably be Jaren Ward or Shin Malphur.

8 AntwortenBearbeitet von StupidSlinky: 1/27/2016 3:39:14 AMNone The ghost is the strongest. That little bastard might never figure out how to open a centuries old door properly, but without it every single guardian would just be a skeleton stuck in an eternal traffic jam in Russia. edit I was reminded that even after the guardian dies (and also while the ghost is “unlocking” something) no matter how much you shoot it or what you shoot it with, it doesn't even flinch. strongest confirmed both in "lore" and game Lol

1 AntwortenMe and a couple friends were actually talking about this the other day. In a lot of mmo's yes i know destiny isn't one but it does have mmo qualities the classes are more distinct there are the tanks (Titans) so I think they should be given more health and less agility and maybe their weapons do less to compensate. They long range units (hunters) I think they are already good at this so not many changes. But I think the healers (warlocks) fit the least so just an idea say what u want only putting this out as an idea. What if warlocks got a healing subclass I'd love to here your ideas. Obviously the other to classes would get another subclass but I'd just think it would be an interesting addition.

5 AntwortenI think we need to realize one thing. There are different kinds of strength, and lore wise each class has depicted amazing levels of power. Yes a warlock can survive without its ghost because of the light they take in. But look at eris, a hunter who lost her ghost and was nearly twisted by the hive. Yet she survived, she shows a level of survival that epitomizes the strength of the hunter. Look at saint 14 and how he fought thousands of fallen alone. And just before he died he crushed a kells head with his own. This isn't a show of strength, but that of will. This again exemplifies the will of the titan order. Warlocks are powerful yes, but that's just it, they train for that raw knowledge of power. That is why the vanguard is made up of three distinct classes. Hunter, Titan, Warlock. Each displaying a different kind of power. Each needed to balance one another our. Now, not pertaining to lore What is the best set up for a fire team? Hunter, Titan, Warlock. Diversity in multiple scenarios is a beautiful thing. Keep that in mind fellow guardians

Warlocks can reshuffle matter with hand movements

3 AntwortenStrength wise, Saint 14. Power wise, Toland

I'd say warlocks without a doubt. In game descriptions say that warlocks can reshuffle an objects individual atoms with a wave of our hands.

Hunters: space hipsters Warlocks: space hippies
titan smash you bro
We should have copy cat guardians. Whoever we kill we get their power for a few moments.

Guardians are the superior class

4 AntwortenThey all counter eachother, especially when you consider subclasses. Its like rock, paper and scissors

Its not the gun(class) that makes one stronger, its the wielder(guardian) that makes it stronger.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Invalid: 1/27/2016 12:33:15 PMThere is no true strongest class. All three must work as a cohesive unit to make up for each other's weaknesses and back them up when they need it. Out of lore the Titan is portrayed as the strongest class because they are the true defenders of the city, the last and first line of defense, and they lend a helping hand to those guardians in need. The Hunters are the reconnaissance, keeping the city updated on the events unfolding in the wilds, they give the Titans a heads up so they can prepare to fight and help by assisting in taking out the stragglers before the main force arrives. Warlocks are the scholars, delving into the unending knowledge that stirs within the cosmos, they show the rest the way, enlightening us on how to better defeat the darkness and save what little light is left. In truth, the strongest class is the guardian in general, while one can destroy massive amounts of enemies alone, it doesn't hold a candle to the feats a team of guardians can accomplish.
