And many more, destiny's first REAL competitor is going to blow it out of the water on March 8, 2016.
Tom Clancys The Divison
Feel free to google any of the above websites articles on The Division. They all say the same thing. Though destiny in its final form is a good game, it will be dethroned by The Division in every category possible. Gameplay, graphics, story, MMORPG, and the new mechanics it will have that destiny does not.
I loved destiny for a long time, but when the game is more of a grind than WoW, and each WAY overpriced DLC releases the previous WAY overpriced DLC is never played again because the names of the game decided it was best to make all its rewards irrelevant and therefore undesirable to play, all the PVE glitches and PVP lag and cheats, it's just not as replay able as it once was.
I've logged close to 1,000 hours, but I haven't played more than 30minutes a week in months.
The Division will be a new era. The first competitor in the new game genre that destiny has created. And everyone from alpha to early beta testers and all the interviews in between are saying this game will blow destiny away.
I'm a destiny day one player, but I'm excited to replace destiny with a game to dump all my hours into again.
Read spoiler to see a quote from bungie employee about how they AGREE that destiny will die!!
In December 2015, Bungie community manager Eric Osborne addressed concerns there "won't be any more substantial content until [the studio ships] another full game, or that all of the content for the rest of Year Two will come in the form of timed events."
Also, from the same article:
The release schedule indicated a new entry in the series would be launched in September 2016, but this is no longer the case according to a report from Kotaku. Citing sources "familiar with goings-on at the studio," the site reports "plans for Destiny's future are constantly in flux" and "just last week higher-ups at Bungie delayed Destiny 2 out of this September."
So there you have it. Bungie themselves have no plans to expand their already dying game. And the division, the FIRST game actually in the category/game genre as destiny (unlike fallout, cod, battlefront, etc.), comes out in just a month and some days. Everyone get hyped. Bungie gave a reason to get off their train, and Ubisoft is giving us a new boarding pass. :)
Also, Xbox1 Master Race FTW so... Yeah.
COMMENT AND LIKE IF YOU AGREE!

2 AntwortenGame critics are similar to movie critics. Remember titanics hype machine? I thought that movie sucked. I'll wait and see.

I bet you'll have a blast on that game. Although...
I also bet you'll be on these forums every hour as well
-
Maybe not... But who cares? These things happen.
-
Played the beta.. not what I expected. . It's fun but not that great
-
And you are definitely muted on February 1st! Congrats!
-
See you in a 2 months...
-
Everyone that I have talked to that has played this has found it to be meh.
-
Tried the beta, it's not all that great...
-
You'll die >:)
-
3 AntwortenIt's multiplayer watchdogs without hacking...
-
After playing the Division... It's not really that special. I'm looking forward to playing it but it's not as special as Destiny. I guess only time will tell.
-
Games never die
-
Pls go away it survived Halo 5 call of duty fallout and star wars im pretty sure the division wont kill it
-
1 AntwortenAccording to those organizations it's Gona die, have you seen the comments people put on the YouTube videos of the division there mostly negative. A lot of people have been cancelling preorders. I guess we will wait and see. But mostly everyone comes back to play Destiny. I play the witcher 3 at times when Destiny does get a bit boring but I always come back to play
-
1 AntwortenALL of them will be back once new content for destiny drops, ALL of them, mark my words. Destiny is getting a bit stale at the moment but its not going anywhere
-
4 AntwortenI played the beta... Cancelled my preorder... Just didn't find it to be that much fun.
-
Idc what game comes out, Destiny will never die. Although it lacks certain balancing and story, it's still a one of a kind game that broke new ground. People will always come back to Destiny even if it's only for when new DLC comes out. I have a feeling that ALL the things we've been begging for in year one (e.g. Private matches, dedicated servers) are gonna be introduced in Destiny 2.
-
1 AntwortenI can't say if it will. I played the beta for about 8 hours over the weekend. I was already starting to get bored with it. Not much variation in enemies. Moving and ducking in and out of cover feels awkward. Maybe the real game will have some different things to it. I think it will be hard for a current day earth based game to have the variety of enemies, maps, weapons and such that a space and future based game has.
-
4 AntwortenPeople take breaks from Destiny all the time, they also come back to play the new content, till the next time they take a break. The Division will be fun, then everyone will get to end game, then they will get bored and move on to another game
-
After playing the beta. I will pick it up and play. But it cant meassure up to destiny. I'll still be playing destiny.
-
Idk that it will, third person, cover shooter and everything takes forever to kill. Really slow pace form the look of it. But the way you get gear is really cool.
-
2 AntwortenThe division is gr8 and all but let's face it
everyone will be back for year 3
-
2 AntwortenLOL die. Funnnny.
-
1 AntwortenTwo completely different games, played division beta and it was pretty cool. Only thing it will do to destiny is take some gamers away from it for a bit. Still not sure what division has planned for end-game besides dark-zone.. Thats what im worried about
-
I played the beta. 1st day it was meh. 2nd day I loved it. Definitely a game that you need to play with friends. But it's nothing like destiny. If destiny comes out with another expansion soon then destiny wins. Other than that people will move on. And it will start because of the division.
