Real fan= Someone that sees what the company is doing is wrong and is trying to make a change so everyone can enjoy the game as much as they use to or maybe even more. Just wants to see the game become something amazing like it was supposed to be. Complains when there is a legitimate issue and want the quality of content to be amazing. Fan Boys= Gobbles up anything that the company throws at them, doesn't matter if it is crappy events or microtransactions that are more overpriced than a free to play game's. Doesn't even matter to them that a worse drop system was imposed as well. When you say anything remotely bad about the game they call you "Pesticle", Cry baby, Entitlted, special snowflake, and any other insult they can think of without giving a proper reason as to why you are these things. Will pretty much tell you to -blam!- off and play something if you hate the game if so much as say you wish there was even the smallest improvement. Pretty much blind to what is really going on. Sadly, this community is composed of the latter rather than the former. I use to be part of the former myself, thinking that Bungivision could do no wrong, but look at how they treat us. Keeping us constantly in the dark, edging on about the events like they are more than they are going to be, and constantly drip feeding us quests, drops, exotics, or even old content placed in new playlists. You people can defend them all you want, but them "Being a company", but you fail to realize they are literately imposing free-to-play(nothing wrong with these types of games, just their features don't belong here) features in a game that is not free-to-play and even charging free-to-play prices for these features. The price of the content they have been releasing has not been well beyond what it is worth. Now, I know someone is going to quip in with "But you don't have to pay for any of it" and you are right I don't and I know that another idiot is going to retort with "It doesn't effect me or you so why are you so worried about it". Well I am worried about, because Bungivision is just testing the market with this crap. They want to see how far their players are willing to go before there is an outrage, and so far the majority of the vocal community has been with them on everything and even if they weren't they obviously got enough sells from the two previous events that they thought it was a good idea to continue on with the crap. There have been several games in the past decade or so that have done this and either the game gets shut down (which in this case is highly unlikely due to contracts) or the player base becomes practically non-existant because they put a price tag on everything. Now, someone might say "But Bungie would never do that, they promised they wouldn't put anything in eververse that was needed to complete the raid or a crucible match", but you know what isn't needed to complete these matches? Grimoire, Ships, Shaders, Emotes, Exotics, Emblems, Sparrows, Level up packs (they already put these in), and, if they really wanted to asses about it, raid resets. None of the things I listed are [b]REQUIRED[/b] to complete either a crucible match or a raid. "But What's wrong with level up packs if they save time, WoW does it" They are extremely overpriced for the content that you get, how is one pack with only 3 items worth the price of an entire expansion/the original season pass? Sure, WoW does it, but when the do it to catch people up to their next level it to save them weeks or even months of grinding for them to catch up, not 10 hours. Even when they do something the community has been asking for they do it half-assed and even then make it limited. Why was there only 2 maps in the entirety of the SRL? Why was it only for 2-3 weeks? At least with Festival of the Lost I could understand that being crappy and temporary as it was a holiday thing, but there are literately free-to-play games that give their players better holiday events, and they even go out of the way to make everything feel festive, so what is Bungivision's excuse? It's a bigger company with even more workers than these companies, so why is content lacking in substance? IF you are a real fan you should make a stand and let Bungie know what they are doing isn't ok in the least sense. You should let them know that you don't want the next 9 years of this game be nothing but temporary events and overpriced Micro-transactions. Making a stand against this kind of bull shit doesn't make you the worse fan, because you just want the game to actually be great and your fellow players to enjoy it more. You are not a bad fan/player for wanting them to release quality events and content, and not just re-skin everything and sell it as new. You are not a bad player for making a legitimate complaint and wanting good changes to come to the game. Don't let Bungivision blind you and feed you what they claim is a steak when in reality it's just a barbecued cow turd. Edit: Just to prove my point, the fanboys have posted below. It's also sad that it hurts their little brains to read a couple of paragraphs and try to think of a truly decent response.

I'm boycotting the game until I feel as powerful as I did in year one... Say what you want about The FateBringer/VoC, Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn PvE set-up... But I personally have never felt more bad ass in the entire existence of this game.

The artistic work of these types of events are underrated, I think. I loved the Halloween event just by how the Tower looked, I spend like 15 minutes just looking all the places from the Tower. They are free, do you prefer to pay 20$ for a content that worth like 5$ or 10$?

I want be playing, haven't played this shit game in months. And now that the articles have surfaced of Destiny 2 being delayed until 2017 I doubt I'll ever play Destiny again. People are so blind to the fact that this game has lost all hope. And it's sad that people are still paying for a game that they've already bought. Not realizing that your Devs moved on to Destiny 2. Failing to see that D2 will be the first DLC this company has produced. The cut content has everyone believing that this game is still alive, but really it died along time ago.

I can respect what your trying to do, but just stop. Just stop being a whiny entitled prick. This is more than most games [b]ever[/b] do. Everyone's precious fallout 4 comes to mind. These things cost money and they don't charge you. I can respect that thus isn't what the community wanted, but I can respect the effort. Seriously games we claim are 1000x better than destiny so half has much as this, especially when they're working on their newest game.
