Taken King Content crossover
Okay, so I recently purchased an xbox one and I intend to get destiny for my new system. I have a physical destiny disk (year one) and the taken king content purchased for the xbox 360. In upgrading to my xbox one so I can use my characters do I need to repurchase the taken king content anew for the xbox one or can I just buy a year one destiny disk for xbox one and have the Taken king content carry over?

Hi Cyclonic THe way the expansions carry over is like this, currently TDB and HoW are eligible for a free upgrade to next generation consoles using the digital upgrade program. TTK is not eligible for this upgrade and will need to be repurchased https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12122

To confirm what the other person said, you may as well just buy the legendary edition. TTK access does not carry over (though earned items will).

Definitely need the TTK, and I'm almost positive you would need a new disc as well. I'd recommend buying them both together.
