Well we were all holding our breath for it....
Amd now we have it. The weekly update.
And a lot of people are disappointed. A lot of people were holding out that bungie were going to do something to try and save their game.
And we get pvp doubles hiding as a valentines event, rift ib and oh yeh we changed matchmaking so it's less fun but don't worry next time we'll be more transparent.
No new pve content. No new exotics. No real plans other than a shitty week long event. No real information.
Goodbye Destiny. Y1 was fun but expensive, y2 had promise but was a big let down. Hopefully Destiny 2 will be better.
No reason to play anymore. It's been fun folks. Laters.

Division bound. See ya there.
-
Agree completely hello division
-
Dunno why people were expecting something amazing to be launched. It was pretty widely reported that we were getting a Festival-of-the-Lost-like event. For many, that's not enough.
-
Agreed 110% day 1 player here catchya later Bungo its been fun i hope Destiny 2 delivers for your companies sake
-
A shoot out is a -blam!-ing shoot out, like a western.
-
Reskinned doubles in a broken PvP game and no new quests/exotics. Ciao Destiny, hola CoD and H5 ;)
-
I dont know why people got disappointed... Bungie confirmed a few weeks ago nothing big was being revealed..

I stopped playing a couple of weeks ago. It's 'shoot to loot' With a broken loot system. Bungie can put all the event 'sticking plasters' they want on this game. You can still see the wound underneath. Bungie; You have been eliminated. That's a shame. Roll on Hitman 6 and The Division.

It's not that hard to talk to the community and be transparent. If these guys weren't a bunch of bitches we could have one of the best games ever. We start off 2016 with a "NOTHINGS CHANGED! We still hate EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!!" And that's it... I just got back into this game, I'm going to run through what's left of year 2 stuff I haven't done, and I'll probably never touch another Bungie game again... It's sad, they could easily turn things around, but they choose to be worthless.

Sorry, but I can't leave until I fix my knee fetish

Bearbeitet von Dyno: 1/23/2016 1:40:19 AMWhy would they dump anymore money and/or effort into Destiny when I hear that D2 is just over the horizon line? To maintain their server population? Apparently not. I had a blast with year one despite all the "DLC" being lack luster. But that TTK update was, well it didn't pay any respect to that which was "year one." Plenty of red flags, the first for me was no offline component to the game. I liked the beta and tons of my friends were preordering it. So I ignored my instincts and tucked my head in my ass and had a ton of fun with year one. Ignoring the parade of little red flags as they popped up. I like Bungie I'll always be rooting for them but there are certain trails I'm simply unwilling to follow. Best of luck to everyone in the future where ever it might take us. Live long and perspire!

I am feeling like this a lot more now

Im starting to kind of feel like this myself.

I've all-but-left Destiny myself. BETA player, have quite a few thousand hours racked up in this game, and I've had a lot of hours of fun playing it. So, I guess it was worth the money. I just wish I could have continued to have fun with it. Unfortunately, my clan mates and I who are generally all day one players - have just grown tired of the lack of communication of future plans (even if they aren't set in stone). Just hearing from DeeJ or Cozmo tell us about even a vague idea of what's down the pipelines, while strongly mentioning that it's subject to change, would be fine - at least some kind of communication to tell us in what direction the game is heading. The 'Weekly Updates' have slowly gone from actual updates on where the game is heading, to mere jibber-jabber and talking about things that really shouldn't need to be talked about, but should have been fixed already - while holding off all and any information about what the future for this game is.

4 AntwortenThey sell you dlc you complain. They don't sell you dlc you complain. They give you new exotics you complain you want old ones they give them to you and you still complain. They give you free events you complain. They change ib because people complained and yet they still complain. Bunch of big ass babies on here

Man, I would love skill based match making if it didn't constantly put me with groups of red bars in trials.... Apparently if I want go flawless I should lower my skill to face people without a huge lag advantage. I can deal with 2-3 red bars in regular crucible via avoiding them or killing them while they're tanking someone else's bullets, but in trials 2-3 is most or all of the team and those revives after they're dead, tanking headshots and supers makes it frustrating to even play. I'd rather lose to the best players 5-0 getting no kills or anything, than a 5-4 win against red bar losers. Peer to peer: connection should always be the go to for matchmaking.

I like that Aliens reference, and based on the Kotaku article, Somebody needs to put Ripley in charge

4 AntwortenBearbeitet von Zenith: 1/22/2016 5:13:44 PMA list of everything good in year 1 and everything good in year 2, followed by a list of everything bad from both years: Good from year 1 - dlc updates - end-game content for both pve and pvp - location-based matchmaking - more challenging exotic quests (thorn compared to first curse, for example) - better exotics - more gear in general (etheric light system) - easier to gain rep for factions - better nightfall rewards - combined arms as a separate crucible playlist (should've been a permanent one, though) - better map rotation - easier for any team to go flawless in trials - better crucible and strike drops - weapon re-rolling Good from year 2 - improved storyline and cutscenes - quests and quest-specific rewards - infusion system - legendary marks instead of separate crucible and vanguard marks - rank-based RNG for factions - strike-specific rewards - kiosks (shaders, emblems, exotics, etc.) - sparrow racing (should be permanent) - using motes as XP boosts - exotic class items - gunsmith weapons - 3 of coins (implemented badly, though) - challenge mode - drops more frequent in IB - IB clash - ability to skip cutscenes. - new subclasses - more vault space Bad from both years - over-priced dlc's - Eververse - skill-based matchmaking - unnecessary weapon patches - event-based content instead of dlc - weapon metas (thorn, tlw, mida, etc.) - exclusion of year 1 content from year 2 - cut content that was supposed to be released in the original game - overall bland and unexplained story line/characters - grimoire - terrible weapon balancing - Luke Smith - glitches and error codes - slow response time from dev team - ambiguity from Deej and PR team - RNG reward system (the way it was implemented) - TTK collector's edition - repetitiveness of strikes - no dedicated servers (P2P connection) - 740 p and 30 fps Feel free to add anything more to these lists.

14 AntwortenI agree. With no new real content coming for this game, then playing is ultimately pointless. Of course people will throw the "it's just fun to play" thing out there, but be honest, do you really think it's going to be fun playing lackluster holiday events that come and go and are just as quickly forgotten? And doing this for a year? No thanks. That's not fun. There is no point in getting to 320, because there is nothing to do once you get there. There is no point in doing regular crucible because it's unbalanced and laggy. There's no point in running strikes to get weapons you won't use because they aren't the meta. There's no point in legendary marks because most players have all of the worthwhile gear you can buy with them. There's no point patrolling because mats can be bought. There's no point to nightfall because the gear you get is almost always unusable. There's literally no point to do anything in this game anymore. It's done, it's reached its end. Can any veteran player honestly say that any activity they do now is rewarding? I seriously doubt it.

Bearbeitet von EIusive Fate: 1/22/2016 8:33:28 PMYeah, they messed up big time on Year 2 Destiny. Their were some good points, but it mostly sucked. I personally enjoyed Year 2 wayyyy more, even with all it's cheeses, bugs, and Thorn and Gjallahorn users. Those were the good old days. Hopefully Bungie can look back on what they did wrong, and what they did right, and find a good balance. Though I don't have the highest expectations. Fingers crossed!

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von The Fallen Zyzz: 1/22/2016 5:47:21 PM"Two more weeks and out, man. Now I'm gonna buy it on this rock!"
Year 2 Destiny is boring as hell. Expectations aren't high for Destiny 2. Although, I do really hope that Bungie makes the Destiny into the game it should be with Destiny 2. Either way, I'm going to be skeptical and not buy into the marketing this time.
