Post your thoughts here.
Edit: Please keep this post alive by bumping it. I have never seen so many people dissatisfied. Just take a look at the poll.
Edit 2: 7,226 respondents are unhappy with the weekly update as opposed to just 1,702 who respond that they are happy with it (as of 1/25/2016 8:36 AM PST). Worth seeing Bungie!

2 AntwortenI love it when they completely ignore the PvE players/activities! I don't want to replay the same crap over and over for some reason or another. The 2v2 could be interesting but is it really much different to 3v3...?
-
1 AntwortenWhy can't they just give us what we want? I mean really. No one in their right mind are going to ask their GF to play a mostly dead video game that came out in 2014. Heck- most people don't even have a gf who play video games period! I mean if they came back from vacation and said somthing like "So remember how every single stream or you tuber we ever put in a community focus has asked for custom games and dedicated server? We are working on that, they will be here in 2 months - Dej out" The forms would explode with happiness. But instead they just do more updates that are cool for the first hour and then are really really stupid.... JUST GET US CUSTOM GAMES AND WE WILL BE THE HAPPIEST PLAYER BASE EVER

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von RedAirMist: 1/23/2016 8:49:16 AMI don't have a problem with this update and all these events with micro transactions. What I do have a problem with is the fact that it's already been 5 months that TTK has been out and still no new raid, strikes, story missions or exotics (exotics already in data base don't count). If bungie says micro transactions will fund future dlc, then they should do so, not claim that these events are free dlc that are only limited time, that's where I have the problem. If bungie keeps up this business practice then they will forsure keep losing more and more players over time. I hope they come out with actual dlc soon and not these bull s?/t events cause I'm sure a lot of people including myself with be very upset then they already are.

Honestly, I would say Bungie doesn't care at all. They have made their money and continue to make money on these idiotic micro purchases. This is what they are putting their time into now. Festival of the lost was the test, and I'm sure it was quite successful. Why put thought or time into anything else when they can maximize profits by creating these small events that gross a lot of money. Of course this all just a matter of opinion.

1 AntwortenUnhappy bump.......

2 AntwortenBungie ripped out half the pre-release content from destiny and spent a year+ selling it back to fans as DLC. They have exhausted most of what they ripped out to begin with- hence the complete collapse of future content planning for the game. Players got snooked. Sorry. Bungie is so poorly managed now that they spent the last 2 years re-integrating the crap they pulled out before the game even shipped instead of making new content so now they have nothing- literally nothing- "on deck". It is going to be one hell of a dry spell for Destiny fans.

2 AntwortenBungie is like parents that know what you want for your birthday and Christmas but still get you things you don't want like sweaters and socks. This game has been very fun over the last year. But seriously the man hours it takes an artist/developer to decorate the tower for this "Crimson" event is likely comparable to updating the data files for VoG or Crota. Probably even less time? So we ask WHY? There is no logic in creating shitty events that we aren't interested in.

Bearbeitet von Quarrymen114: 1/23/2016 8:01:58 AMThe saddest thing here is that every single time something like this happens, we're more and more further from the game they promised. Watching the Parthways Out of Darkness ViDoc shows a confident Bungie. With all of this stuff around, man, it breaks my -blam!-ing heart. I trusted in Bungie but they seem to don't know anymore what they're doing at all.

3 AntwortenIdk why people are unhappy, it was better than most weekly updates

1 AntwortenAre they gonna matchmake random male & female characters... like Crucible blind date. That would be awesome

1 AntwortenIf I knew what was going on I would be happier. If I knew that buying some silver would help bring in more developers, testers, writers, etc, I would be down. March would be 6 months since an expansion, and really it was kind of small. I'm being patient but not knowing what the hell is going on is so frustrating. I'm sorry but these events are stupid. I would have preferred no events for these past few months and more focus on a dlc. I don't think they keep players around until destiny 2 without an expansion

1 AntwortenBump for disappointment. I grew up on halo, lan parties and xbconnect. A Huge bungie fan. I was out of gaming for a while and jumped back in head 1st w Destiny. I want to support the game and intentionally bought emotes and "record books" over the last 6 months to help future development since there was no DLC. In return I get glorified team doubles, hearts and chocolates, and a rumored pushed back release date for Destiny2 and no sign of any DLC before it. I feel like I got -blam!-ed by a childhood hero. Bungie, sort your shit out. And don't be afraid to trust your fan base with the truth. We can handle it and will respect you more for it than the silence and lies! Rant over.

1 AntwortenPretty disappointing. I would gladly pay for expansions like they did in year 1, this Mickey Mouse crap is a huge letdown.

1 AntwortenThis is very depressing to say the least, and now to hear about upcoming content for the sequel being delayed... not sure how I feel about this anymore. I have been in love with this game ever since the Alpha testing, and all it could have been. The Division is looking very promising, I sure it will have its issues like most games, however it will be a welcomed refreshing change of pace. The major problem I see with these micro activities is that there is no rhyme or reason... Now, if they all were linked together as in a story of sorts that would be much more deserving direction for the community, Not the garbage that is about to be bestowed to us next month. Iron Banner is something I am looking forward to, and my clan DOD Iron Orange is the only reason I still play right now, they are an amazing community of people.

11 AntwortenI'm so disappointed I don't feel like giving out Free Hugs today.
-
Imo I think people are just over reacting to this weekly update. I don't think it's that bad but I would have preferred an update line-up rather than an ok we know just wait and see we might do something eventually.
-
1 AntwortenDoes Bungie realize that there is a grand total of about 7 couples playing Destiny across all platforms and that "Crimson Days" is an extra depressing way to earn depressing loot? Because I don't think they do.
-
5 AntwortenValentine's Event = A way to add stuff to sell for silver. I bet we will be seeing a lot more of these event$.

Bearbeitet von artmgs: 1/22/2016 11:41:03 PMYou know I could buy another ps4 for my gf to play Destiny. No idea how I would help her level up though - we use to raid every reset and can't even get the guys together for oryx, let alone crota or vog....... loved those raids :( Guess I'll be doing irl stuff valentine's day. So I've been playing pvp while I wait, thanks for all the laggy connections over the last few months :( I enjoyed this game so much year one1 Just heard Destiny 2 is being pushed back too Sad days :( p.s. I could understand the 0.04% mistake as a genuine mistake. BUT The pvp change and "we didn't tell you ON PURPOSE because we need the data" with blatent lies - if you want to say later that you didn't know it was changed DON'T SAY THERE ARE PROBABLY NO CHANGES IN THE 1ST PLACE -GO AND FIND OUT AND THEN SAY SOMETHING. Bungie will never tell us what is going on, their past actions prove that they won't.
-
1 AntwortenYou have the best name ever. Alis says hello. :) :)
-
I'm happy because I didn't expect anything less, or more for that matter.
-
1 AntwortenBungie has kinda done us a favour, if you'd rather play destiny than spend time with you partner, on valentine's day, then play destiny with them:)
just kidding bungie doesn't do us favours
4 AntwortenThank god I have a bunch of iron banner bounties saved up from last time so I can minimize my time in the abortion that IB rift is sure to be.
