Edit: Please keep this post alive by bumping it. I have never seen so many people dissatisfied. Just take a look at the poll.
Edit 2: 7,226 respondents are unhappy with the weekly update as opposed to just 1,702 who respond that they are happy with it (as of 1/25/2016 8:36 AM PST). Worth seeing Bungie!

I left Destiny in December of 14 because I saw the writing on the wall. The content removed from the final game turned into DLC. The insane repetitiveness of it. The RNG which was nuts. There are just decisions that don't make sense to me for the game. I fooled myself and got Taken King and I admit if the Taken King had been the game that came out.. I would have been much happier and TTK was fun but it was short lived. Which is Destiny in a nutshell. At this point it doesn't matter what happens. I can't see myself ever going back. It would take a serious drop that just blew everyone's mind. I also can't see myself gettin on the Destiny 2 train unless it completely addresses the problems and idiotic decisions of D1. Incredibly sad for me. The game plays amazing, it looks tremendous... but that's not enough that's only one piece of the puzzle.

13 AntwortenEach one of us made them rich. So I'm not surprised Bungie was gracious enough to make us wait weeks for a useful update that everyone's been begging for. And they did not disappoint. Inviting us all to the sausage fest in the tower on Valentine's Day. Buy your buddy Ron a rose. Buy Todd some chocolates. Teabag Mike by the tree. Honk Billy's horn. So hyped!

I don't expect anything groundbreaking post-Feb. I check in every other week for an update, and this is the same update I see again and again, "nothing new, we don't care UFCK YOU, thanks for the support", even WoW xpacs kept me on board after hitting max level (at least a little while with stuff to do, massive raids, world bosses, etc.), there is no end game content here and don't expect any. See you guys in a couple months. PS I wonder how many fanboys upvoted your poll, LOL. I really don't see there being so many positive people here with how toxic the forums really are. I really doubt 21,000 people enjoyed that update via your poll in the last two days.

I left in October. Couldn't do it to myself anymore. The monotonous gameplay... I was tearing my eyeballs out. I was hoping with the Taken King that a whole new game was being released. Instead, I got a box of raisins. If this team would focus on story development instead of creating spooky confections...we'd have our whole game.

Is Bungie stealing crappy ideas from Blizzard? We don't want Holiday events - we want a story line worth playing - more raids - more zones - more relevant content - fixed PvP for those that PvP - new PvP maps. Bungie is becoming just like EA, Blizzard, and sadly - almost all game developers now - lies lies and mo lies just to get your money.

2 AntwortenThey don't care, and they basically came out and said that. They implemented a matchmaking system without telling anyone, then when the vast majority of players dislike it, they tell us it's better for the community. They add no new content for months, hell they don't even mention any new content for months (remember our big update we know nothing about isn't until March) and they expect people to keep playing. This game had amazing framework, Bungie just isn't going to build on it and instead they will throw water on it and wait for it to rust.

O yeah, bungie fix crucible my ass.. every f n game I load, it's a land slide game and am on the loosing side 18k and we 8k as I load in the match is almost f n over.. f you bungie f u.. my f n melee dnt register, my fusion rifle is a hit and miss, when I hit ppl like it does no damage... like I have videos of me shooting this warlock twice point blank and his shield remains I had to pull out my primary.. fix the melee charge, I shotgun and melee ppl with a charge melee and I end up getting melee twice and killed, respawn and still have my charge even though I hear the contact of my melee hits. Worse IB ever, you ppl take this shit for a beta testing play ground.. why don't you f n ask the community what they would like IB to be, instead of forcing this laggy bs down our throats.. I thought you guys listen to guardians, that's what you guys always bragged about which is a lie, because bungie never ask for our opinions so how is it our voices are being heard, according to you guys. Last but not least, when it comes to crucible/pvp Bungie ya'll sucks.

Sheeps will still play this "new" content, and casual players won't give a shit. Hell, even people that voted no will play during the event, knowing their efforts about leaving the game are useless, giving Bungie infinite chances, never realizing this game is burnt out. [i]Hypocrisy is opinions' demise.[/i]

2 AntwortenI am unhappy with it, but they literally told us this return to weekly updates wasn't going to contain much at all this week. And, well, they delivered. At least they didn't lie about /cover up what was updated this week.

6 AntwortenI understand that it takes time to come up with new PVE content but COME ON!! At least put the old strikes in the heroic play list, revamp VOG and CROTA raids, fix the nightfall rewards. Make this game feel fresh again in tired of running kings fall raid to get NOTHING!! And who the hell asked for valentine's day event?

I think he's a [i][b]deplorable[/b][/i] community manager), he is just a spokes person. Higher ups give him the message, he puts it out. However. Sadly, Bungie isn't Bungie anymore. They're a husk of a once great developer. They sold their souls to the devil and alas, the events surrounding [i]Destiny[/i] - from the 'Marty Incident' to the sheer ridiculousness that was Luck Smith's comments - shows Bungie's complicity. Greed. Just greed.

2 AntwortenSpeaking as a solo Titan with no fireteam of my own... [b][i]Rift. They seriously made Rift the Iron Banner mode. And a Doubles PvP event during Valentines...[/i][/b] I know, I know, I'm a casual scrub who can't simply find a group to play with. This is clearly Bungie trying to force the solo players out of their comfort zones so they can finally stop rolling solo. I just don't think I like it, lol.

1 AntwortenAs TripleWreck said in his YT video, people are getting piss with lack of content for PvE players and SBMM for PvP players. We dont have anything new to do and what is in the game doesn't work clearly... What i hate in the BWU is the fact that they claimed weeks ago: no we didn't changent anything in MM. Then now they say yes but we won't change anything yet means like we dont care if PvP is not fun to play anymore. Sometimes i ask myself if its a kind of deal between Bungie and others editors to force us to buy new games...

The constant lies are a big problem with me. From the weapon "updates" to the matchmaking. Best part is when you ask a dev person on twitter they block you. Bungie needs to get their act together...... quickly!

the update is disappointing, and I am really really REALLY getting tired of these cheesy-ass holiday things (festival of the lost was alright for like the first two days) But what really REALLY REALLY REALLY pisses me off about this game (and this development company) is that they just let slip that Destiny 2 will be delayed?!?!?! according to the good folks at Kotaku http://kotaku.com/the-great-destiny-malaise-of-2016-1754495561 we are stuck with Original Destiny (and the torturous drip-feed of content) for possibly another SIX MONTHS past September of 2016?!?!? I just don't know Bungie... I love you guys and this game but UFCK ME! that's a LOOOONNGGG time

First i want to thank bungie for Destiny, its a game i love, second i want to thank Derek (@_mantis_) for speaking out, and finally I want to thank the players for kicking my a$$ in the crucible. Now ... Bungie you guys made a huge mistake when you decided to partner up with Activation. I understand you guys needed the backing but now "we" are dealing with the repercussions of your actions. We are witnessing a major corporate move, that focuses on "solely" generating money, and not "only" the players experience. We are being treated like "Apple" consumers ... We are only allowed to take bites of the pie technology, but never allowed to eat the entire thing. Bungie you signed your soles away ... and you know it ...

So many PvP events being highlighted recently... I would rather them fix the PvP first, then it might be worth it. Fixing the secondary ammo issues is a great start.
