Got kicked from a Raid (NOT A B8 POST)
I joined a LFG raid the other day and their post said, "Must be 310+ and no kids allowed! Must be 18+."
So I join their group and we're raiding and get all the way to oryx when that deathly thing happens that happens to all of us at that one point in life...

Raid Group: You still live with your mom?
Me: I'm 17 turning 18 next week and I'm still in high school.
Raid Group: Our post said no kids, 18+.
Me: You guys didn't know I was younger than 18 and you were all chill with me a few minutes ago. So what's the issue?
Raid group: We did say 18+ though so we gotta kick you.
Me: Alright, I understand. Thanks for raiding with me, good luck on beating Oryx :)

Edit2: If I see any comments that are anywhere near this type of BS>>> "They asked for a requirement, you didn't meet it but joined anyway. You lied." Then you are getting muted from this forum post. I'm not sure if you people read all of what people post on their forum topic but I sure hope you guys read this edit, and btw before commenting I'm a liar please reread the conversation between me and the raid group, I admitted that I was wrong, I even wished them good luck on the rest of the raid. Now can you people stop being immature people and do something better than your lives than sit here all day being an asshole to people.
Edit3: Today on January 25, 2016 I am 18. I now meet all these dumb 18+ requirements that losers put into the raids.

2 AntwortenThe simple fact is that you were not mature enough for them. The fact that you didn't have the decency to move your thumb three inches to mute your mic proved that fact to them, if it wasn't already proven before hand. The whole you live with your mom argument doesn't make sense either. If you were behaving maturely the entire raid they would have assumed it was your significant other and not a parent asking the question. This is the biggest problem with putting specific age requirements. I've met and played with many younger kids that are clearly more mature then yourself. It can also be challenging when putting "mature only" in a post as I've ended up with kids trying to [i]prove[/i] their maturity. Fact is, requirements aside, they didn't like you for whatever reason and decided to kick you. I doubt it had anything to do with your actual age. Congratulations on reaching 18 though. Hopefully you'll grow up soon also.

I am not very much in favor of people excluding certain age groups by putting up those requests on LFG. But as a tolerant grown up, I understand that people are different. I am also not at all in favor of people lying. As for you, the learning could be to ask before the raid starts whether one week makes a difference. Alternatively, you could also respect what people look for even if you don't like it.

Lol as if raid finding groups have standards and policies to abide by, if you joined helped contribute to beating bosses and successfully contributed to overall team success it doesn't matter a bit whether you're 17, male or female, white black orange or purple. You did your part. In my honest opinion of course

6 AntwortenLook here, Bisquick. Going to end all this right here. The group asked for 310, 18+ plain and clear. You took the chance, rolled the dice and ended up being caught in the end. At least you made it to Oryx. All that other stuff is irrelevant. If you were cool with it and understanding in the end, why even make this post? No doubt this post contains some NaCl. In your defense though, I'd be mad too if I got to Oryx and got axed. They could've let you finish.

I'm already 18 but let's say it was a 19+ party. If I'm 18 and the requirement is 19 and you want to kick me then I'll just laugh. Don't assert yourself with people that nitpick that hard. They sound stupid from what you put. I'd have to hear their side to get an accurate description but right now they sound freaking hilarious

I once joined a clan that required 18+. I was in it for about 4 months and they still didn't know I was 15 lol. I would have just lied and said you were staying to visit for the week though.

Don't know why people are like that....when i see 18+ on lfg i assume they don't want some 13 year old with high voice -blam!-ing shit up not kick someone because they are one week from 18....it sound like y'all where having a good time and getting stuff done.....this is so silly. There has been so many people that have brought there friends in that didn't meet the light level that was posted but still got threw the raid with no problems.....this is why i play with friends

Honestly if its not about you joining a team that you not following requirements then wtf is your point... Hence why like 90% of the comments are mentioning that. Its stupid but they have the right to add these requirements, just as I have the right to require 313+ for golg challenge due to the worst fking experiences ever with people below that. Yes, people higher that can also be fking retarded too (I immediately kick them once its apparent that they can't do it) these requirements are laid out to filter a certain quality that people don't want. Please understand that. Also yes people are a bit lazy with he requirements as well, probably why they were just requesting 18+ instead of no squeakers but whatever bro
