i mean, tether can slow people, make every hit a precision hit, take away supercharges if being used
why can't titan defender do such things? i don't mean to say that it should be the same as tether
if we could change armour of light, i would
also, bubbles can be cover for your enemies, unless you have got the helm of saint 14, which is not used for crucible. Bubbles are useless on crucible. If someone walks into a bubble with a super, take it away from them? slow them down?
or how about not letting the enemy go in the bubble (thats a bit op really though)
the bubble could be improved. i am not complaining about how op any other subclass is, its just how under powered bubble is
every other single supercharge is useful on crucible, unlike bubbles, well if you want to sit at the back of the map one shooting people with a sniper with weapons of light, which is a kind of nooby tactic if you ask me. Bubbles can be improved.
I suggest a new perk, which could replace armour of light, where if you walk in the bubble, you can get something called " Agility Of Light" or something like that where you has like 1/3 or 2/3 times more agility, which i think would be a good perk.
Bubbles are just a useless super unless you want to piss around on crucible and lose the game. A golden gun can take out a bubble with 1-2 shots, and kill everyone in it (if has combustion) and the bubble will just not be helpful
how about a perk on the bubble where it lasts around half the time that it usually does but can have a medium chance to deflect all bullets off of the bubble. Maybe that could be a possibility?

9 Antwortena few words i leave for you
armor of light

shotgun

control
if they want to win they have to wast a super on you alot or the points are yours for just sitting in you bubble doing nothing but peeking out and shooting stuff with your main

3 AntwortenDefender Titan has been my main for as long as I can remember. Never once have I thought, "Damn. This bubble just isn't good enough." I've always said the value of the Titan bubble cannot be overstated. 1) You can spawn FAR more orbs than any other class in the game with Gift of the Void, Gift of Light, and Iron Harvest on 2) Saint-14. Idk why you say it's not used in crucible. I've seen it many times. And I use it. Every single bubble I use, someone thinks it's fun to get ballsy and run into the bubble. It never works out for them. Ever. Lol Not to mention you can set a blinding bubble trap right in the doorway and -blam!- up everyone that walks through it 3) Blessings of light gives you a new over shield each time you enter it! If someone does any damage to you, walk/jump in and out of your bubble and you have a brand new shield. That's ridiculous 4) With the right perk loadout, your shield lasts for an unnecessary amount of time and comes back quicker than most supers Idk honestly I think the bubble is awesome as it is. I would change a thing. It's fair and balanced, but can be very deadly in the right hands.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Reeds Greed: 1/23/2016 9:43:37 PMThey could easily improve it. When you activate the bubble three auto turrets materialize and blast streams of Arc, Solar, and Void at all enemies within 50 meters. On the top of the bubble a missile cannon forms and fires seeking projectiles around a 100 meter radius. This is the only way to balance the Defender bubble imho.

1 AntwortenHow about an exotic that completely changes how they work? Kind of like Celestial Nighthawk, but instead of going from roaming to single activation, it goes the other way around. Chausses of the Bulwark: Exotic Perk: Terraform- Ward of Dawn no longer makes a bubble. Instead, activating it allows you to roam for 15 seconds (20 with bastion), using RT create cover a couple meters away by stomping the ground at the cost of some super duration. You can place up to 4 shields per super use. They behave just like WoD, except AoL will trigger by standing behind them and they last 30 seconds regardless of if you have bastion. Each shield creates 1 orb, gift of the void can only trigger up to 3 times and will only spawn 1 orb each time. The time to charge the super is increased by about 30 seconds. Appearance: Similar to No Backup Plans. Shields look either like deployable cover from Halo 3 or active shields from Halo 5. Thoughts?

Yes but its awesome already

Bubble is the most over powered Titan class if you know how to use it... It's the only class I use on my Titan. Suppressor gernade with armor of light and a shotgun and you're pretty much unbeatable in there
-
Armor of light is very good in crucible. I can take a fist of havoc and still have full health. It tanks a lot more than you think
-
Titan bubble is perfect the way it is. Buffing or nerfing would be the move of a complete idiot
-
I use the force barrier with no black up plans
-
The bubble needs to travel w/ the Titan
-
4 AntwortenIf you camp in an armor of light bubble with a shotgun, you are using it incorrectly. Try putting weapons on and use It offensively. Ran defender in trials last week and flawlessed after 3 runs. It gives your teammates half super(with crest on), blocks 1/3 of supers, and allows easy gun fight wins (was personally 1 shotting people in body with my thousand yard LOL), plus is close to the fastest charging super in the game.

Sounds like someone's never successfully done a bubble train.
-
4 AntwortenI think they're fine. What I will say though, it's that when I pop my bubble and another titan slams it and kills me, my first thought is: you goddamned traitor.
-
Actrully bubble diflection sounds pretty cool as a perk or exotic armor.

Bearbeitet von RBz ll Sebby: 1/23/2016 2:31:47 AMYou say titan bubble has no purpose besides "pissing around in the crucible"? Clearly, YOU are that noob. Titan bubbles are one of the most essential aspects in a raid, or certain crucible modes. You just dont know whats reeeeeallllllly good cause youre a bad kid

Defender is the best PvP subclass. Very useful for: *controlling a strategic point *controlling g enemy movement away from or attracted towards the bubble *controlling enemy supers when they use large killers on a single target That about sums up most of the game. I always run defender in trials. Why? One game comes to mind. All 3 bubbles I had (was a close game overall, but my team won 5-4 with a draw) were useful. One when I was last alive. Got the revive, tanked a nova bomb so I could get said revive and win the match. Second bubble was placed on heavy, tanked a titan smash, which my two teammates sniped the sole enemy there, got my rez, and we won that round with an enemy super wasted. Last bubble won the overtime cap zone, saving us from a sunsinger death. Remember kids, always use armor of light with invective.
-
I use my bubbles for 2 reasons. Baiting supers like FoH to me instead of the control point around the corner. The second is setting up a checkpoint for teammates to run through and continue their attack, while slowing enemies advancement.
-
The only people who think the bubble needs a buff are casuals, so this poll is redundant. Anyone who's anyone knows that Defender is the best PVP class
-
You lost me at "useless for crucible". You don't know what you're doing.
-
-
The shadowshot doesnt make every shot a precision shot it just makes it do a bit extra damage, getting a precision shot while its active just adds extra damage
-
The bubble is perfectly fine as is it needs no improvements if you believe it does then you don't know how to use it properly.
-
Bubbles should be like the tether, where they time out regardless of the Titan being alive.
-
I should definitely be able to put back down my bubble at the cost of like 10-15 sec.
-
1 AntwortenNo because it lasts 60 sec, ns can only last 7 and because the bubble can chain.
-
Immobius. That is all
