Capture the damn flags. You aren't playing clash. FFS.

And only hold 2. Please.

Its pointless asking fella, everyone still thinks spawns are based on capture points. So for those people: they aren't. The spawns are always based on free space in relation to the enemy and safe space in relation to your team. Take Cathedral of Dusk for example, your team spawn on A, enemy team on C and everyone meets in the middle to fight for B. Lets say your team are winning and doing well against the other team, you push forward towards C but don't capture it. The enemy will start to spawn near A because the area around C isn't safe for them anymore, whereas the area around A is now empty. Get it? Good. Capturing control zones gives bonus points to kills, having more zones means more points per kill. Now on some maps its still a good idea to leave one zone, such as Cathedral of Dusk and just hold 2. It isn't about the capture zone but the area you want the enemy to spawn in. This way with a little coordination its much easier to hold B (and A) because you always know where the enemy is coming from and they won't suddenly be behind you. But sadly people don't get it, and they still won't. People still cry about A on Blind Watch.

1 AntwortenWell, tactically speaking its better to capture two of the three control points and force the enemy to spawn at the third. Then again I've also won matches by holding a single control point and having the entire team run defence.

Sadly you are preaching into deaf ears.....

Problem in crucible is Atm, Whenever a playlist is the Daily pvp its unplayable.. Stupid idiot noobs just Want their Marks ...

Why don't you capture the flags? In every fps game I've played, competitive teams always had one or two people dedicated to ignoring objectives and just killed. since points on kills contribute to the overall score, they not only ease up the pressure focused on objectives but also directly contribute to the win. Capture the flags yourself. If your teams killing them like its clash, you should have little resistance.

But... If we only captured the flags to win, the matches would all run out of time because we aren't getting kills! D:

U can win without b

Yesterday on my team I had 4 captures and only one other person on my team had one capture. Yes, 5 total captures for all 6 players. Good times.

17 AntwortenBearbeitet von FrenetiCreature: 1/21/2016 6:04:02 AMYou mean there's an objective in Control? No way, José! Is... Is that why I see people standing around in those white circles with the flag in the middle? Well, hell! You know, I just... I had no idea! So, let me get this straight. You mean you're not supposed to just run around shooting people then? Well, no wonder my team usually loses and my score is always in the bottom 3. And here I was thinking that I was some kind of badass, running around averaging 20 kills per game, while trying to maintain the highest k/d that I can. So, the way you win is to make sure that you capture zones, so that multiple zones are in your team's possession? That's how you get more points in Control? Well, slap my bottom and call me a gopher munchin' baboon! Tee hee! Woohoo! I think I'ma gawn try eet out!
Exactly! It is so frustrating to watch multiple teammates run right past the zones and not capture any. I can tell you within the first 30 seconds of a match whether the team I'm on has any chance of winning or not, just by seeing how many of them help capture the first zone. It's almost a 100% guaranteed loss if more than 2 of them run right past the first zone. If you see that, almost always, after the match is over, you'll see on the score list that all of your teammates have 0 or only 1-2 zone captures. That is so frustrating! If you don't want to capture zones, go play Clash or something. You're ruining the game for the people that actually want/know how to play Control.
1 AntwortenDepending on the game, not capturing objectives is fun. I played a whole game of salvage and my team spent the whole time keeping the other team off the probe. It makes the game more interesting.

3 AntwortenHijacking your thread with Rift rules: 1.) If you get the spark, and none if your teammates are with you, GO BACKWARDS AND GET BACKUP. 2.) If you do not have the spark, get your a** up to the sparkrunner and run with them. Mainly #1, though.

3 AntwortenKills still generate points so

When a enemy is neutralizing a zone and I see me teammates running away from it...

What's an objective?
-
1 AntwortenHaha even worse with zone control. I played a game earlier where 4 people captured a whole 0 zones and focused on kills :S
-
Game out over a year now if this still happening then there is no point in telling them.

2 AntwortenWho cares. It's regular Crucible. If it were Iron Banner you'd have an argument. There's no difference between winning and losing in basic Crucible.
