Black Titanium blade with a slight indent running down the length of the blade. Black gross guard with gold ornamentation. Black titanium and gold hilt in a spiral formation and a ruby pommel to finish it off.

Bastard sword, durable, can be used with 1 or 2 hands, doesn't take years of training like the katana, cut and thrust capability and any swordsmith in medieval times can make a decent one making them cheap compared to katanas. Bastard sword wins in my book.
