To those of who still play this game on a regular basis.
What's your drive? Lately with the stagnation of content and the state of the Crucible I generally feel little to no reason to play at this point.
[i]Note: Not meant to be a taunting/dickish post, just generally seeing if there's any reason to keep playing, maybe this thread will give me some motivation. [/i]

Just farming for armor and weapons, legendary and exotic that i want. Help my friends in ToO, which im terrible at or do the raid. Honestly, im not even trying to be 320. HM is the only thin i havent done and if its near the same as NM, i just see it as higher light gear/weapons. My chars are above 300 and im doing everything with relitive ease.

I just play it for fun honestly. I don't really care for raids, trials, or hitting 320. I hope on, play some strikes with friends and play some crucible just for the hell of it

I like running raid challenges and been working on the Rumble Grimoire score.

I just really do my bounties and a bit of crucible so I don't get rusty. Then it's off to halo or minecraft

Finding fresh friends to run the raid with/crucible, breathes new life into the game. Plus during all the DLC's I waited till I got burnt out to do the end game material, no rush to get to 320 lol

The only things that keep me coming back are the desire to hit 320 light and the desire to collect up a lot of the unique and rare items in the game

Recently for me, it's becoming really invested in Trials. I look at my gameplay during the week as practice for the weekend.

I never play crucible I just run around and shoot people and help my friends out with anything they need.

1 AntwortenI think the biggest reason people still play this game is that Destiny is a game that anybody can pick up, grab a few friends, and play. Having an intellectual conversation while mindlessly blasting evil alien races is just fun for some people. To those who scold others based on what games they play, how can you be so ignorant to say such things? A game is created to be enjoyed and appreciated for what it is. If you cannot appreciate it, then don't ruin the experience for others.

It's a great game for if you want to play something that you don't have to think too much or try too hard. Fun to pass time with just in a strike playlist. Then of course there's a chance of getting somewhat decent rewards so it's not completely pointless.

Still have exotics to buy/get (armor and guns), enjoy Crucible (when I'm not constantly getting sniped, killed by the Thorn, TLW, and MMT), and the actual gameplay is smooth. I just want more PvE content accessible to solo players.

I got bored so I deleted a couple characters and started them over. I like playing as a warlock a lot more now actually, used to hate it.

My drive is makeing guardians head blow up and then you hear that cursed thrall crying out its last dieing breath befor it explodes and echoes threw your headset over and over again. Yes I may be insane but it's a lot of fun :)

320 grind. I'm 317 but my highest primary is 311 so I have a reason to do trials / oryx etc.

A damn hard mode helmet for my hunter. Once my set is complete I'll be happy.

Honestly, I still play because of my clan members. There are some that get on my nerves, but all in all we like to just mess around. We have two people in our clan that are brothers and we have them set up pvp matches so a group of six of us can mess around in Rumble, skirmish, or salvage. Just the other night we had a blast using nothing but NLB and sidearms against each other. The next match consisted of 6 defender titans all with Armor of Light and Helm of Saint-14. We decided to all meet up and have a giant boxing match in the middle of the map. The next game was a game of freeze tag. Stuff like that is why I still play. I could care less about Trials and Raiding.
