IF YOU HAVE A POOR CONNECTION OR ARE ON WIFI...
Stay the -blam!- out of the crucible. You make the game unenjoyable for everyone.
Edit: So I see I seem to have rub some people the wrong way. I admit I made this post while a little salty and maybe should have made the title a little more clear. So here you go: If you knowingly have a poor connection stay out of the crucible.
To the ones saying I don't know what P2P is I do. The reason I say stay out of the crucible is that if you are the host you will cause your team to lag due to your bad connection. Therefore making the experience for [b][i]EVERYONE[/i][/b] unenjoyable.
Edit 2: For those who are criticizing my stats. No I do not play everyday nor have I put 1000s of hours into this game. I have a life. I have 2 jobs, a wife, and a son who I put before video games. But when i do play I would like be able to enjoy it.

I wouldn't totally knock ALL WIFI. I used to use it and had a solid connection. But there should be a "time out" if you red bar for more than a minute. I get that people dip into the red, but I played a guy yesterday lagging through walls and had 10k and he never went above the red. That's just garbage.

IF you want enjoy a pvp game then Destiny is definitely an odd choice. As a player you should aim your criticism toward one who's responsible. The game developer('s). Hate the game not the players!

Sorry but in Australia me and my mates all run wired but still have red bar it's because the service is shit. So people try make their connection best but due to area it just doesn't happen.

There are no servers in this game, you're complaining about people that can't connect to the host that most people can. I'm sure there are games where you're red bar, too. I know, because it doesn't matter how good yor internet is, you're going to come across a host or 2 that you can't connect to. The only thing that bungie has servers for, is all of our saved data, and statistics. That's it. Which is why we'll never get custom games or be allowed to mod, because if one network can control a small aspect of the game, even something as simple as a patrol, they can get and do literally anything they want. But anyway, the lag is Bungie's fault for not having servers. No one else's, stop blaming other people.

The thing is sometimes even your ISP can screw you and cause you to lag even if you have a good internet connection. My connection allows me to play PvP without any problems but 2 days ago there was some issue and I was a red bar in the match. Half of the match I was a red bar and managed to piss of a guy. Halfway through the match I check my connection again before quitting and I am green again so I stay and finish the match. But the pissed off guy messaged me and I did apologies(Twice) as I understood I ruined his experience but he still continued to insult me and so ended the convo. Basically my ISP screwed me big time.

4 AntwortenDestiny has an issue where you have to change to your wireless broadcast to 54mb otherwise you end up with problems on Wi-Fi if you have higher speeds. Maybe ask Bungie why this is a problem instead?
