So elimination is basically snipers?
Grinding through the boring pvp quests. I've never bothered with trials. This is such a boring game type. Nothing but snipers.
Well done bungie on destroying your legacy.
Edit: four games in, nothing but sniper battles. Switched to imago loop and telesto out of sheer boredom.
Edit2: if this gametype is for 'skilled' players then why are they all using mida and 1000yard stare? A good player can use any gun.
Edit3: someone start a petition to rename elimination to snipers and revive-spawn camping. Its catchy.
Edit4: man, some of you guys are very salty! For those that get the point I was trying to make, thanks. If everyone uses the same setup constantly it creates a stagnated play environment. After getting bored of snipe-offs I resorted to jumping round corners throwing grenades and firing my telesto. It was fun. Some guys on my team followed me. Yeh strategy has its place but it has less place in a first person shooter which is meant to be fun.
For those that focused exclusively on my skilled players line and got aggressive, chill. I'm not saying anything about your skill or how much skill it takes to press a button. I'm sure you guys would love to have an argument about your dick size all night, good for you. I'm sure if you all had the worst snipers with no aim assist you would all be the best. Honest.
Final edit: If everyone could start using fusion rifles and side arms just for shenanigans that'd be great. Vie la revolution.

1 AntwortenI don't use snipers in PvP. Nor do I mind them, I know where they are, and I just have to take steps to avoid them.

Ashraven's Flight is my go-to special weapon. I don't see many other fusion rifle users around, but we do exist.

Now you just have ppl hard scoping for entire matches. There is little skill involced in hard scoping. 3v3 is particularly horrendous. As a side note, tried the thorn out tonight to see what the hype was about (again). Bungie nerf this thing into oblivion pls, I never want to see this as a viable crucible weapon EVER again Edit: tlw should also join thorn

I understand what you are saying, but everything else has been nerfed into oblivion, and people only use what is good. Since most guns suck, people are confusing balanced with OP.

I say make shotguns return to their former glory, reduce special ammo crates to one spawn per game at half time, reintroduce players dropping the ammo they pick up when killed.

I played a game of clash on vertigo a few days ago and peeked around one of the corners in the lower central square cube area and sure enough there was literally 5 guys all just sitting there hardscoping in down the hallway lined up like a firing squad. It can get pretty silly.

3 AntwortenThere are plenty of ways to counter snipers (trust me I've been rushed from angles I didn't know existed by shotgunners), but yeah the default for Elimination/Trials/3v3 is heavily Sniper populated. I decided to 'join em' instead of taking the extra time (work) of beating em with Shotguns or Fusion Rifles... Honestly? (And this is something you won't hear from many who use Snipers alot) I applaud shotty users when they can rush/flank/outplay my sniper! All of the cheesy 'camping crouch shotgunning' aside, it's a hi risk playstyle and even though they're really powerful, you still have to be on point in CQC to make shotgunning work well. I never really realized this until I took up learning to snipe some months ago, just took shotguns for granted.
