Festival of Love
Destiny's February event should be a Valentine's Day celebration. Each of your Guardians gets ONE valentine to give to one NPC at the Tower or Reef (you put it in their decorated shoebox). Once you do this you get an exotic quest that rewards you with an exotic item and maybe the affection of your sweetheart!
Choose wisely (up to 3 times when you do it with all of your Guardians) because each one gives a different piece of gear, and if you complete secret objectives during the quest you get a special ending at the end of the game where your valentine shares a special moment with you. (Not that kind of special moment, you weirdo.)
Your class Vanguard will yield a class specific piece of exotic armor.
Shax gives a crucible exotic.
The quartermasters and banshee give weapons, of course.
After that, things get interesting. What would Petra, Eris, Variks, The Speaker, and the others give?
What about Xur?

Eris: Y2 Murmur Variks: Y2 version of one of the 3 POE exotics The speaker: an exotic class item Mark/cloak/Bond of the Traveller: - bond and cloak would be a sunset sky with the traveller - Bond would be like the SRL one: with a holographic projection of the Traveller [exotic perk: Reduces prices of items sold by regular tower merchants (i.e. all those at the tower but Xur and Saladdin) Xur: Nothing, he's a busynessman.
