What the actual fack happened to fusion rifles
They are absolutely HORRIBLE the stability is non-existent

The biggest tragedy is due to all those fusion rifle nerfs the past year, The vex mythoclast went from the god level pvp weapon to being outclassed by a sidearm. I really hate how bungie balances weapons in this game.

Train yourself to the charge rate, and the projectile speed (this is actually the range stat). Assume you always need to ADS (unless it's a Plan C exotic kill). Go to town. Aim at knees, try to use them where they are being forced down a straight lane. That is to say, FR's are really not meant to kill opponents evading; they are more meant to surprise rushers and hold hallways. Edit: the most important thing to remember is that IT WILL TAKE TIME for you to learn/relearn the mechanics. Just stick with it. It's a different change of pace. Bungie nerfed them, the only fusion rifles i like are Telesto and Susanoo, i received Ashraven's Flight with a 313 Attack and trust me that thing is utterly useless even after i upgraded it completely. I'm thinking of dismantling it. I have to decide now which special weapon to upgrade, it will either be Telesto or Hereafter sniper rifle.

2 AntwortenThe Thesan FR4 or whatever it's called that gunsmith sold last week with hot swap and rangefinder is actually pretty good. But yeah they're super inconsistent.

1 AntwortenI'm glad they're horrible. I still remember when they were crazy overpowered and they made for awful gameplay.... Even worse than the shotguns/snipers that everyone loves to bitch about. Hopefully they won't be a weapon type in Destiny 2.

You should revisit the Plan C. It's actually still pretty fun and a nasty surprise in PVP.

Has anyone noticed a slight improvement in fusion rifles this past week? The spread seems tighter. Probably just my imagination but you never know when Bungie pulls a stealth change. Or maybe it's just another symptom of the crap servers recently.

Vex Mythoclast especially. I wish it melted like it used to...maybe a little less because it really was OP.

Fusion rifles have received nmany nerfs with only a few buffs. It's currently the worst special weapon class with snipers sitting comfortably at the top. Nobody uses fusion rifles competitively

I am a HUGE sniper rifle fan in ANY shooting game that has them. I ALWAYS have at least 2 of the best snipers I own on the character I'm running. I only changed to something else when I HAD to for a specific part of runs. Picked up a decent fusion quite a few months back and forced myself to learn it. NOW? I still keep the snipers on my character, but they only get used when I'm needing shots from a distance. I pretty much always keep a good fusion equipped
