My wife said if I don't stop playing destiny were getting a divorce. Should I?

Edit 1: if she truly wanted to be with me, then she wouldn't make me choose. Just jealous bc I don't give her all my time.
Edit: I hope the next guy she meets has all exotics and flawless raider.
Final edit: I work and pay all bills, she is a stay at home wife. I buy her whatever she wants, take her wherever she wants to go, I don't blow money, I don't do drugs, the only thing I do for me is play destiny to pass time. I take good care of her so don't give me no shit calling me trash cuz I'm not. -blam!- you.

1 AntwortenTroll or not you shouldn't be picking a video game over your wife. If it's up for debate you probably already have your answer. I have a stay at home wife, three kids, and a full time job that demands my attention outside the 9-5 work day. A lot to balance. I've had games come to blows at times too and I have the same argument that it is something I enjoy. If push came to shove though I would choose family as you should. When these arguments come round it probably means you just need to take a little break from the game and focus more on her. Shutting it down for a week or two is not asking a whole lot. Usually pays to your benefit.

Sounds like she's craving attention. If it's coming in the form of an ultimatum it's most likely too far gone to rescue without a lot of effort. You're the only one who can gauge the return on that investment. I don't envy your position.

I play games with my husband, we love it, it's fun, so I don't know what her problem is other than self centered and selfish, I don't mind if my husband plays, he doesn't mind if I play, I see this all the time in the forums about the wifes who are freaking out because their husband plays a video game, big damn deal, there are worse things in life to complain about or stress about, I just don't get it, I feel for you

4 AntwortenA woman only acts these ways when they feel like they're 2nd to something else. If you're playing Destiny more than you're spending time with her you need to balance it out. A LOT of women do not care about money or things, they care about being made to feel loved and wanted. If you're not doing this, do it or maybe she's right to divorce you!

Are you neglecting other aspects of your life? My wife hates video games too but so long as I pitch in and help with stuff, especially if she doesn't ask, I'm golden and she doesn't get pissed about me playing. Gotta find a balance man, otherwise it won't matter who you're married to. Unless you want to be alone.
