I recommend all of you do the exact same. Any time you see a player red bar, use your report feature for cheating / bad connectivity.
Because Destiny doesn't have dedicated servers, YOU CAN'T know which is which. Some legitimate players are going to get burned in the process, but it's collateral damage in efforts to create a better online experience as a whole.
I loathe Crucible events like IB and Trials now, because there are so many people willing to bend you over and take your win. They get away with it because they're given the benefit of doubt; maybe it is just their connection.
Regardless, why do you match good connectivity players with them?
Bungie: Either remove your win algorithm, so match making is a better experience, or spend some of that annual budget (from your Activision contract) on servers.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Skids420: 1/11/2016 3:39:10 PMYep everyone I see as Redbar get reported for bad connection teammates or no. However I only add the cheating option if it's an obvious lag switcher. It's obvious btw. But to be honest you shouldn't be playing a competitive game mode in any game if you have bad connection imo. If you can't afford fast Internet or good WiFi you shouldn't have bought a ps4 or xbox one ( roughly $400) Oh and if you got bad connection useing WiFi.... DONT USE WiFi!!! Just plug it in the old fashioned way with a wire!! If your still having bad connection after using a wire instead, its probably you ISP or you got a bunko router or something. This guy is right

So what you're saying is that anyone who has a red bar is a cheater?
-
I do the same thing man.
-
Well...your first mistake was playing Destiny PvP. Your second was crying in your own thread. GG

1 AntwortenYou also realize that putting in dedicated servers would mean massive amounts of code re-writing correct? Probably not because you're a keyboard warrior at best. I encourage them to go the dedicated server route but it would mean time and money. The money they have, the time they don't because of ignorant people like you who will hit the forums and complain that you're unable to play destiny for x amount of time. I'm also going to say you're probably one of the people who whined about losing a few hours of your iron banner because of the PlayStation network. Not Bungie.
-
so many people getting reported due to Bungie's horrible match making without dedicated servers that Bungie can't keep up. Bungie probably stopped even trying so it likely is pointless to report anyone.
-
If you're cute I'll add you ;)
-
It sucks too though, because sometimes the people with red bar aren't lagging, and even in teams with full green bars there is still that person who dies 5 seconds after you unloaded the magazine in them. Would that still count as bad connection?
-
I did Daily PvP today and was red bar for half the game... no idea why.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Bizomin: 1/11/2016 4:46:59 PMIf I see anyone like you with a crap medal score and a negative kd I will report you for taking the hole team down

What if it's a temporary red bar?
-
Bearbeitet von InstantOG: 1/11/2016 4:46:45 PMI remember being called a cheater and being reported for bad connection in the only game I did decent in (Iron Banner). The kid couldn't kill me because my team was good but somehow blamed me. Funny part is, he only complained when I killed him not when he was wrecking me in the beginning of the game. I swear people who complain about red bars only do it when they're dying not when they're actually destroying them.

4 AntwortenIf you ever red bar be sure to delete your characters and the game account you're on. After all just collateral damage.
-

-
Eh honestly if I have to choose whether they spend the money on developing more content or on dedicated servers, the content wins out every time
-
12 AntwortenAnd this is why cheaters don't get punished. Bungie cannot penalize people who purchased the game for plying that game. A person with mediocre Internet has as much right to play as one who has great internet in their home town. Posts like this just flood the reporting system with complaints that will not be addressed--and the actual cheaters get lost in the deluge. PvP is what it is in Destiny. Nothing is changing prior to Destiny 2. Don't like it? Stop playing.
-
My internet is not always the best. Report me for bad connection if it's truly a problem, but please don't go calling me a cheater
-
And you reporting so many clearly innocent people is why cheaters don't get caught, you report so many people that the cheaters are mixed in with a bunch of mom cheaters, think next time before you post non sense ideas, and it's easy to tell cheaters and just bad connection, it doesn't even look kind of similar
-
I'll report you for your crappy name before I report a red bar. Plain and simple if you don't like it don't play.
-
Thanks for making it harder for Bungie to spot ppl a little more work for them to justify their cash throne.
-
Reported for being red bar
-
-
But... Trials is so lag free

1 Antworten"Sorry guys, it seems i saw my internet go red bar for a couple seconds ( along with everyone else) a few seconds after i died. Ill leave and never play until i can ensure absolute military grade internet connection, because i dont want to get reported for cheating :D "

You just went full retard
never go full retard
Oh no! Lord forbid i get into a match with this guy and get a connection drop or something of the sort. ....because this guy will report me! In the words of oogie boogie "you're joking, you're joking! I can't believe my ears! Someone shut this fella up, I'm drowning in my tears!"
