This thread is done. Way too many self righteous pricks here.

I use the gym for sweats not a lame video game.
-
1 Antwortenplay while you're taking DNP, then you'll really sweat (;
-
1 AntwortenIt's funny how you could think destiny is competitive in any way. It's basically find red dots on radar and win gunfight. There's no map awareness , no strategy at all
-
17 AntwortenA fgt coined this lame term and suddenly that's the definition of competition? Go to an actual gaming event and use that term... Nobody that's played any real competitive game has ever referred to their matches as "sweats".. it seriously sounds gay as hell..
-
1 AntwortenThe sweats are what I get after eating too much too quickly
-
1 AntwortenWhats a sweat
-
Sweats aren't even competitive. AKA this past Thornament from 2 or 3 days ago
-
3 AntwortenI still never understood what that even means. Could somebody explain?
-
5 AntwortenPeople actually sweat when they play the game? Damn, how out of shape are you people... lol
-
He who sweats wins, those that don't are just sitting on their arses doing -blam!-all. Sweating is a normal bodily function unless you are just a fat white slug.
-
Gonna assume you mean the removal of certain perks/gear perks. I don't do competitive Destiny, because it's aim assist and I don't rate it at all, but I'd assume it's the same reason as particular rules in every other competitive game mode, to find the best pure players out there. On a side note, someone told me they use turbo controllers at MLG for Call of Duty, is that true? That to me seems like such fake bullshit... how can you find the best pure player out there if they all use turbo controllers. But anyway, like in many MMOs, when you scrim there are always certain rules set beforehand to prevent cheesy perks or skills from being abused.

67 AntwortenBearbeitet von Youre Lightwork: 1/10/2016 7:51:41 PMYou don't sweat. Your stats are average. You don't have much experience inside of PvP. Why do you care? Exotic armor is banned because there's specific armor that's just stupid. Double smoke bombs or Backstabs (that work on people's foreheads). Grenades every respawn. Extra health due to Ram. Evade mid air for Titans. Landfall + Blink Stormcallers. There's just a bunch of shit that promotes bullshit. & if you were watching Sweats, idk regularly maybe, you'd know that most people don't like the fact Thorn isn't banned throughout the Sweaty community. That's what people wanna use, can't do anything about it. I'll never understand why players who suck, & aren't competitive, feel they can actually speak on what is / isn't competitive or not. You're not apart of that sub-community. Go bitch about a Raid or something edit- clearly, I've rustled some jimmies. There are better ways that I could have worded my post. My intentions weren't to gloat or act like I'm better than anybody. The point I'm making is that what people consider competitive is strictly an opinion. & OP comes across like that's not true, like his post is facts. Whether exotic hand cannons are competitive or not is an opinion, point blank. Players with access to all the same things means everything's on a level playing ground. Everyone can have their opinion on Sweats & competition in Destiny all day long. I'm not disputing that, but nobody can definitively say what's competitive or not besides the 6 players queuing up to play each other at that moment. The sweaty community within Destiny contains some the best players in this game, if they all agree on specific guidelines, who is some random to say that's not competitive as a fact?

71 AntwortenSniping takes skill? Lol shur. Sniping is easy as hell. If destiny turned off aim assist for a day lord shaxx himself would rage quit.
-
Its funny that the "competitive" play in Destiny discourages playing the objective unless its killing, discourages diversity in the game, and encourages camping/only getting in gun fights if you know you'll win. I don't play it because the "play style" for that type of gameplay is boring as -blam!-. It takes everything that's toxic about crucible and puts it into one game mode.
-
Lol there is no such thing as competitive in destiny.
-
All I read into this is fat guy is sweats or sweaty man love. Either way I will not read this.
-
Bearbeitet von Dro-Logic: 1/12/2016 7:28:37 AMYou have crappy stats and around 20k kills in crucible with all your characters together.... a true sweaty has atleast a 2.0 with 30k kills on just it's main. I have a 1.9 with 29k kills on my main warlock and don't even consider myself a tryhard nor a good player... you need to just get lost in a forest.
-
I wish I could sweat:(
-
This was so fun to read
-
Bearbeitet von Romulus: 1/11/2016 7:55:40 PMI really don't think destiny is on the same competitive level as Halo or call of duty yet. Crucible needs some refining before it can become a definitively competitive on that kind of level banning exotic armors is a step in the right direction and maybe that rule could extend to exotic weapons also who knows, everyone has their opinions though
-
6 AntwortenIt's fair that exotic armor is banned but I think nKuch's 1,000 Yard Stare should be banned as well. Shortgaze, Snapshot, & Hidden Hand on the same sniper rifle is clearly an advantage even though I don't think he needs an advantage.
-
People sweat while they play? Damn, get into shape people!
-
2 AntwortenStopped at sweats id be embarrassed to be called that. Sounds so gay.
-
7 AntwortenBearbeitet von A Potato: 1/10/2016 1:50:21 PMLast word and thorn is what keeps sweats from being a campfest. Exotic armor like spawn with grenade energy make it to where every fight depends on who tags with a grenade. No back up plans would be ridiculous as well considering how shotgun horny people get.
-
3 AntwortenJust one question, wtf is a sweat?
-
8 AntwortenI stopped reading when you said shadestep shotgun takes skill.
