Sidearm & Shield
So we need badass elemental energy shields that we can hide behind to significantly reduce incoming damage.
And a sidearm to go with them so we can blind fire (no ads).
While equipped, melee attack is a shield bash to send target stumbling back & stunned (no damage?)
Exotic only
What do you all think?

I like the idea. From a balance perspective. You should put the energy from your energy shield into the shield from your arm. meaning someone shooting around your shield or at your back will kill you that much faster. But if you position yourself right, you can ruin someone's day.

Yeah, maybe a shield that goes in the primary weapon slot but is used in tandem with a sidearm. It really isn't difficult to mow someone down with a sidearm from the hip, so it could compete with shotguns and even fusion rifles as special weapon.

1 AntwortenYes!!! Destiny needs more stuff from Halo!!! An exotic hunter piece that gives them the hologram. A Titan piece that gives them armor lock. And a regeneration field for warlocks.

Would come out of a small emitter strapped to your left wrist AMD you could still A.D.S. over the top right corner of it. So an extra button wouldn't need to be programmed, just aim with a side arm and it activates. Melee with a side arm wrapped and you do a lunge forward shield bash, the shield activates as you lunge They'd be elemental like swords so you could choose between orange, purple or blue!!

Like the cabal shield but slimmer This is how it would work: The shield is powered by heavy synthesis and once selected it's paired with a side arm and will block anything even a super but a super will just about depleted fully. Just a few more normal shots after you took that super hit and it's gone. Also melee with that heavy shield is a one hit kill but you would not be able to run Perks: -melee kills with shield powers your super -side arm kills with shield grants fast reloads for a short time Exotic shield version: -incoming fire had a chance to fire back at enemy -kills side arm while blocking grants small health -charge blast (just like the ones on cabal taken shield but with elemental damage) Other thoughts: If we are allowed to run with shield and use it as shoulder charge one hit kills, these kills should take a large chunk of heavy like the exotic sword. Also running with the shield for kills will have you exposed and could be easily killed cause you won't be blocking EDIT: I'm posting this on Cozmo wish list. I've got a chest piece for every type of splash damage, they actually make a noticeable difference.
