I have always enjoyed sniping in Destiny and I personally have been getting sick and tired of all these nerf sniper posts. Hopefully this will help inform the uninformed before they make themselves look idiotic again.

1 AntwortenHere's the comment I made: THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS. This same type of complaining is the EXACT REASON that ALL OF THESE GUNS: Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, Patch A archetype shotguns... are so screwed up. The reason Snipers are dominating, is because honestly, while they are skilled, THEY HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR IN MID TO CLOSE RANGE. I have no issue with people sniping. However, they need to be flanking the outsides of the maps, and not be so overconfident in CQ as they have been made to feel by the other abhorrent patches Bungie has put out.

1 AntwortenNo. You don't need skill to snipe in destiny, honestly people with 1000-yard stare snipe you like mark wahlberg in sniper no matter if you are 5 feet away or 5000. Never been killed so ridiculously with snipes before and I don't think everyone just learned how to snipe. Destiny turned from a mid- to close range game to a long range game people rather stay at the spawn with snipe than go for kills. It just turned into one big campy shit

The reason Snipers are so common now is because they haven't been nerfed, while everything else has. So they're at maximum power while everything else is toned down. When people are given very little choice in terms of weapon preference, they go to the next best thing, which in this case, is a weapon that hasn't been nerfed. They're supposed to reward a skilled hand, not a blind firing maniac, which is exactly how they're being used.
