Aim assist on primaries = bullet magnetism
Aim assist on snipers = Time the reticle slows down on the head
People are complaining about snipers...but snipers are worse after TTK than they were in year one (see my argument in video)
With the nerf of shotguns, everyone is pointing the finger, but people who are talent snipers are getting shit simply because they have practiced...This isn't right.
Is sniping in destiny pretty easy compared to other games? Sure, I'll agree to that.
But to call them broken due to aim assist is a lie.

Every update they do is just gonna change from one complaint to the next. You cannot balance a game this big with this many gun options with an update every three months. Weekly fixes months ago would be pvp perfection by now. Not gonna happen though! If everyone is using the same gun then something is wrong, so said bungie. Oddly every update they do causes exactly that!

13 AntwortenTbh aim assist needs to be toned down in destiny. I understand what it does and hate seeing people understand but the AA needs to be lowered if it wants to be known more competitively

"I don't want to be a dick" "But I'm gonna be a dick"
seriously though thank you for posting this and actually having some sort of proof
They're broken, because everything else is nerfed into oblivion. Fusions used to be good, whiners complained. Shotguns used to be good (maybe a a bit too good for some. I'll admit that) then boom. They did kinda need it. And sidearms don't do enough dps in closer ranges. Even all primary's except the mini snipers, scout rifles, were nerfed into oblivion. Even subclasses don't do much. So the problem isn't snipers (even though I HATE THEM.) it's everything else.

2 AntwortenI agree. Not broken due to aim assist. there's a huge difference between skilled snipers and the one that camp and pre aim corners with out barely advancing past spawn. Imo player shouldn't be rewarded with a kill with minimal effort. Bungie should remove special ammo from players inventory at the beginning of the match and make it something earned.

Yes. Thank you. There's a giant misconception about aim assist on snipers.
-
Aim assist keeps dragging me off my intended target, it's annoying. An option to shut it off would be helpful imo.

When someone on the forums makes sense

The only reason people are mad is because 1000 Yard has great impact and decent aim assist. However it's very easy to obtain and the one you get with the quest has pretty good aim assist. Honestly the only difference I notice with high AA snipers compared to low ones is dragscoping. I have a very easy time dragscoping with high AA snipers simply because it turns into a game of spot the pattern and you just pull the trigger when you notice the slow.
