Refer a friend
I have a question. If I make a new account on my PlayStation and a new bungie.net account, and someone refers me, will I be able to get the special quest WITHOUT having to buy taken king again? I mean I bought everything as it was released so I spent a Ton on this game, and I don't think I'd have to buy it again because it'd be my first time playing it on my new account, but I'm unsure
TL:DR- new account+new bungie account=refer a friend quest, without re-buying destiny?
I'm on ps4, by the way

It doesn't work because the "license" on your copy of the game is the same, even though it's technically a different account it's the same copy of the game and bungie can see that.

My older brother got the taken king. We couldn't do the refer a friend quest(s) due to him forgetting his bungie password. He also somehow managed on set his security question up wrong; meaning he can't reset it... Most unlucky.

6 AntwortenDid you digitally download TTK or buy it on a disc (ie Collectors Edition/Legendary Edition)? I think that's the only way it would work

6 AntwortenIf i understand you right, this is what you are suggesting. You have TTK and Destiny on PS4. You also have a account that is "veteran" so you need a "beginner" for refer-a-friend quest line. Now you are planning to make a new PSN account and a new Bungie account so you can do the Refer-a-friend quest with yourself. Do i have this correct?
