What do you think? I personally think it's a bit lame that you can be killed when you aren't able to control your character. IMO that is the opponents fault for allowing the person to revive the fallen player in the first place.
Edit: this isn't about the act of reviving or specifically about sniping. This is about being able to die without having control of your character.
Edit: a lot of great responses on both sides of the argument.
Edit: I see a lot of people makin assumption about how the player died or the scenario in which they are being revived. In the question I posed the way they died is irrelevant and how or where they are revived are irrelevant as well. For all you know they may have died in an epic gun fight. And for all you know there may have been nobody around when the revive happened but as soon as the revive happens someone pops out and one shots them and they have no way to dodge or counter. People keep talking about rewarding the player that died but there is no reward their is a cumulative timer and there team has to get the revive.
Edit: a lot of people saying the poll is biased but nobody can seem to mention how it's biased.

1 AntwortenA bias poll that fails, is when you know you are very wrong

1 AntwortenThere's nothing I can't stand then to kill a shotgunner, just to try and stop his asshead buddy from the revive(Kill him too) only to be forced to fight the same dead shotgunner i just dropped, BUT NOW with a brief immunity, and an armor of light style shield. I've before had the enemy team scramble through a hallway reviving each other and firing sniper/TLW with rez shields The cumulative timer is nothing compared to the advantage gained from temporary near invincibility. Maybe have the player get a random respawn location?

3 AntwortenFor everyone going for the 2nd option.... You dont even think what happends after they change it...aka people are getting an advantage by -blam!-ing dying....
-
2 AntwortenYour the idiot that revived them

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Sixclicks: 1/8/2016 1:47:01 PMIt's your fault for dying out in the open in the first place. So yes, they should be able to res snipe you. Maybe you should just not die like that. You shouldn't get rewarded for your death by being immune while revived.
-
1 AntwortenBiased poll is biased, ever heard of watching for the red glimmer and pushing your teammate? 9/10 people won't be able to get the shot and if they do its luck or skill. The latter you will never be able to counter.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von lllXboxJuanlll: 1/8/2016 4:36:29 PMWhy would you call for a revive while being hard scoped?? Kind of sounds like your fault

6 AntwortenI personally think it's a bit lame that you expect to receive benefits from dying. Just sayin'

I have been summoned
-
Yes we need to keep res sniping because snipers don't have enough crutches as is...
-
2 AntwortenI guarantee 7/10 of you rage and bitch when you get res sniped. And sad thing is im probably right.
-
I think they should remove the overshields from the person reviving and the person being revived, but the person who is revived should spawn at a random location 20ft or less from their ghost.
-
5 AntwortenWhy should a person be gifted a shield if they get revived? You already fuccked up by dying, then you get a second chance and you have more health with that second chance! Makes no sense to me.
-
2 AntwortenShields reward death. Death shouldn't be rewarded. I say remove over shields and immunity frames from revives. It will solve the 1k stare/high impact sniper issue and stop rewarding players for dying.
-
1 AntwortenIts the players fault for reviving you even though there is a sniper positioned right where your head will end up. Its called communication. Tell your friend where the sniper is at and have him take out the sniper first.
-
It's more about your teammates sliding into you. If you think about it, the orb can be a distraction while another teammate flanks.
-
I never do it.

3 AntwortenBias poll is bias come back when you change the options

1 AntwortenDon't care about trials

4 AntwortenIf you put yourself in a position where you can get revive sniped or killed then you deserve it.

6 AntwortenBearbeitet von foxspy2009: 1/8/2016 12:20:02 PMThe problem is That there is no way to prevent a revive because you can get revives by people behind a wall

Bearbeitet von MacheteSquad: 1/8/2016 12:34:52 PMI like it even if it can be infuriating at times. There should be risk/reward involved in reviving imo. With good teamwork and coordination you can minimize risk and you get the reward of having another gun in the fight, which can be a tide turner. If you get insta killed its good on the other team or bad on your team, either way that second kill was earned. This can be infuriating as I said earlier(mainly when playing with randoms with zero communication.) but is 100% needed. If people have invincibility after a revive you can bet your ass that will get abused to all hell since there is nearly zero risk(with keeper of the pack) when reviving. Also it eliminates a layer of teamwork and proper decision making from the encounter. In short I think the way things are, is fine. Communicate better and choose when and when not to revive better, and when you do minimize risk, use tactics and smart play.

2 Antwortenof course people are gona vote for whats easiest to get kills! STUPID!

5 Antwortenrevive shields are bs in pvp. keep them the same in pve.

If revives weren't so quick then sure, its so easy to bumrush a revive even with the enemy there because of quick res.
