Revive Killing
What do you think? I personally think it's a bit lame that you can be killed when you aren't able to control your character. IMO that is the opponents fault for allowing the person to revive the fallen player in the first place.
Edit: this isn't about the act of reviving or specifically about sniping. This is about being able to die without having control of your character.
Edit: a lot of great responses on both sides of the argument.
Edit: I see a lot of people makin assumption about how the player died or the scenario in which they are being revived. In the question I posed the way they died is irrelevant and how or where they are revived are irrelevant as well. For all you know they may have died in an epic gun fight. And for all you know there may have been nobody around when the revive happened but as soon as the revive happens someone pops out and one shots them and they have no way to dodge or counter. People keep talking about rewarding the player that died but there is no reward their is a cumulative timer and there team has to get the revive.
Edit: a lot of people saying the poll is biased but nobody can seem to mention how it's biased.

The reviver is risking getting killed so i think only the reviver should get overshield.

Yeah I agree, the reviving and the revived should have Golgoroth like health bars until the game ends.

Ofc res sniping should stay. They should remove the immunity and the overshield on the guy who is doing the revive. No way you should be awarded when someone in your team have been killed.

You shouldn't be able to res snipe but res should have a base 10-15 second timer in trials

Usually your teammate has to move you. It is tricky though. I've ducked and they missed before but imo I think it's fair only when it benefits you:P

3 AntwortenThe bizarre thing is a true overshield should not react to precision damage. It's a shield, only after any shield has been destroyed should precision damage count.

Here is a tactic for you. Spin right before you become able to be shot. They mostly miss.

5 AntwortenI think in general crucible u should get a few secs of invincibility when spawning in to stop spawn killing. But with elimination / trials and revives; u should be able to kill on res, as its part of the game IMO.

9 AntwortenI believe that there should be no immune shield when you are revived and the person who revives should not get an overshield. You should be able to blast the person as soon as they are up not 1 second after

I rez snipe all the time but that doesn't mean I don't think it's stupid.

Killing someone who is defenseless when revived is cheap and a bit cowardly. They already got the kill on the person. The goal of the sniper should be to kill the one reviving. If the sniper does that successfully then they prevent the actual revive. The one doing the reviving is the only one who should be forced to be tactical with they revive.

In destiny there isn t the quick scope ant tris is a big proble for people who used the sniper in cod.. But in destiny if you want sniper you must camping and i don t luke that

Personally I think you shouldn't be able to be killed of the revive because I think people would be more likely to use other snipers instead of just 1 or 2 being relevant

5 AntwortenYou get a chance to be revived in an ELIMINATION type game mode plus you get an overshield too and people are complaining? Are you kidding me? The funniest part is people complaining about revive sniping like shotguns cant insta kill a revived victim too. The hate for snipers is just so real.
