First Curse is the most disappointing gun in the game.
The best thing about it is the twirly finger trick you do when you pull it out.
EDIT: Apparently I touched quite a nerve with this!

1 AntwortenIt can potentially 2 shot warlocks and hunters. Did it a few times in iron banner. Head shots do about 93-94 at appropriate range

3 AntwortenYeah, I try to use it, but The Last Word is just so much more . . . "user-friendly." I just played two pvp games - went 5-8 using the First Curse - went 18-11 using The Last Word.

Isn't it actually viable now though? I mean it was buffed recently and I think it performs well for the type of hand cannon it is.

It's perk First Curse affects you until you reload the first curse not any other weapon which is quite handy on speed builds or low speed high armour builds with the +2 agility perk and the first curse ability it makes you actually able to get to locations faster ^_^. It's literally the only handcannon exotic I enjoy running anymore because of how it needs you to be used to low stability handcannons and low rates of fire I loved timurs lash and finallas peril so it was like riding a bike you never forget. 2/3 headshot kills if you're accurate enough too dependent on the armour stat of the other chars subclass. It's my fun gun move over last word I have a gun I'm meant to aim down the sights of!

2 AntwortenThere are quite a few disappointing guns now unfortunately. There's no power anymore, there's no flair. Most exotics now just seem lackluster, not exotic anymore. They just do one specific thing reasonably ok, but don't make you feel powerful, feel legendary as this game promotes. Just seems like a shell.

I love it in PVE. The fire rate and stability is a little low for me to be effective in PVP with it, but the exotic perk on it is amazing for killing adds

Before the patch I would have agreed with you but now it is far more viable. I would say Fabian Startegy is the most disappointing Y2 gun, if Y1 is included then that would probably be Dreg's Promise. I love Sidearms but Dreg's Promise, though nice in concept, just has far too much travel time
