Terraria as a game is way better than Minecraft, however Minecraft's user made content can be amazing. That said, Minecraft has one of the worst fanbases I have ever seen, second only to... fnaf *shutters*

It's the truth. There's way more to do in Terraria.

1 AntwortenIdk I like em both. I wish they'd combine the two so we'd have the 3d aspect of Minecraft as well as as few crafting stations as possible but mix in the bosses and rpg like elements of terraria, like weapons and rocket boots/wings. Granted some bosses would need to be adjusted so their mechanics work like the wall of flesh but it'd still be dope.

Minecraft is fun.. But gets boring after 3 minutes. Terraria is fun.. But gets boring after 3 decades. Terraria wins no question, in my opinion.

That is only true if you are looking for a certain experience. Terraria is a better survival game. There are actual bosses, more resources, dangerous caves, tons on ways to possibly die that you must defend from, and they only get harder as you progress. Minecraft however is a much better building/creative game than terraria could ever be. The 3rd dimension plus the hundreds on block types slow you to get really creative and make something truly unique.

I feel as though they're not really comparable. Yes, they involve mining for new items. However, Terraria is more of a Survival game. Minecraft is more of a Sandbox game. Yes, you can use Terraria as a sandbox. However, Minecraft pushes it's bosses to the side as little extra things to do, making it more of a Sandbox game with a focus on building. Terraria however requires these bosses to be fought to progress further, making it a Survival game with more of a focus on fighting bosses and becoming godly.

I agree.

Agreed. There's actual stuff to do in Terraria while in Minecraft all you can do is build shit.

I prefer Minecraft. Although I would love to see a Minecraft mod that incorporates Terraria's bosses, the corruption, the hallow and more.

Terraria is more for the adventurous. MINECRAFT is for the creative. I love Terraria because it has such fun combat, exploring, and music. Easily of my top 3 gaming soundtracks. Content is also on the huge side if that matters to someone. 9/10 game overall for me.
